@sheggy741 @cogecohelps Same here, we use CarryTel, but with the Cogeco infrastructure. Internet went down around 6:25pm

  • LDHRYAN Ryan (@LDHRYAN) reported

@cogeco has proven time and time again how insanely pathetic their support, service and customer service is. I am being billed a full billing cycle, and haven’t received my modem yet. (It’s 5 days late so far.) Do yourself a favour, pick literally any other ISP.

  • LDHRYAN Ryan (@LDHRYAN) reported

@cogecohelps @cogeco On the phone now again. It’s okay, customers are disposable to you. Current conversation on phone: ME: “I’m not paying for a service I can’t use, asking me to pay this is insane” YOUR REPRESENTATIVE: “Yes it is, that doesn’t seem to make sense” ??????????????

  • JMSSNX jsnxdz (@JMSSNX) reported

@cogeco @cogecohelps In 2022 My internet went down(during the workday may I add) about 4 times. Cannot rely on this network anymore. Why are there always problems? Not a great user experience. Definitely thinking of switching providers

  • VinLeafs 🍿𝒱𝒾𝓃𝓃𝓎🍿® ™️ (@VinLeafs) reported

@cogeco is there an internet outage in Halton region?

  • RickDiLorenzo Rick Di Lorenzo (@RickDiLorenzo) reported

@cogecohelps internet is down for all my contacts in Milton - cogeco's network status checker website says it's up but looks like it's inaccurate. I'm L9T postal code and internet has been down for awhile now - any updates? website says no outages - i tried calling and am still on hold

  • Jonsnow2929 Jon (@Jonsnow2929) reported

@cogecohelps And the cogeco website still says there's no reported outages. This is the problem with Canada's telecom oligopoly. You have no reason to improve things because there's 0 competition. The customer gets terrible overpriced service, while rogers, cogeco, bell get more money.

  • rjwoon12 RJW (@rjwoon12) reported

@cogeco services are down in Milton

  • AHangryBeaver AHangryBeaver🇨🇦 (@AHangryBeaver) reported

@NatarshaAU @Class I'm about 2.5 Hours east of you (So similar pricing) if you're will Bell or Cogeco. I have 500 up/down and it's more than good enough for a 6k bit rate with multiple people using internet. 1K would be more than enough and that should run you ~ $120 ish a month?

  • Jonsnow2929 Jon (@Jonsnow2929) reported

@cogecohelps This is the problem right here. If the cogeco website saying no outages detected in my area, then that means they have no reason to investigate and solve the very real outage we are experiencing. Its beyond frustrating that absolutely nothing is being done to fix this.
