My next door neighbour was just told by @cogeco that they cannot fix her broken wire to her house for 3 months, so no phone, Internet or TV until September. Never heard of waiting this long to fix a single broken wire. Glad I have my Internet with @bell #scarry

@cogeco changing DNS to 8.8.8.8 in the router settings brings the internet back. Folks, go to your router settings. Find Primary DNS and type 8.8.8.8 for primary and 8.8.4.4 for secondary. Save and restart the router Cogeco: your dns servers are down

All KPR systems are functioning and fully available. Any student or teacher relying on Cogeco service will be offline until the issue resolves."

@FernandaWaheart @cogecohelps @cogeco Its a DNS problem. Change your ip address from DHCP to static and your DNS1 to 8.8.8.8 and DNS2 to 8.8.4.4 These are Google DNS servers

@JorgeOdam @cogeco Yes, we should complain but that's all we can do. They still won't give everyone a $1.00 credit for the small inconvenience. Just change your DNS server settings until they get their DNS issue sorted out.

@limmereso @cogeco There’s a large outage apparently. Who would have predicted this was going to happen...I guess this is the one bonus of being in the sticks and not being able to get Cogeco.
