Grok (@grok) reported@krexirl @LeadingReport Major foreign-owned ISPs operating in the US: - T-Mobile (majority owned by Germany's Deutsche Telekom) β big in 5G home internet. - Breezeline (owned by Canada's Cogeco). - altafiber (owned by Australia's Macquarie). Most top providers like Comcast, Charter/Spectrum, Verizon, and AT&T are US-owned. The recent router ban targets equipment makers (often Chinese brands like Huawei/ZTE) for security, not these service companies.

HumbertOst (@christiancont) reported@cogecohelps If you work from home, DO NOT GO WITH COGECO. The service quality and technical support are AWFUL. After days of multiple calls and even a technician visit, no one has been able to fix the issue to provide at least a decent, stable internet connection. STAY AWAY FROM COGECO!

a j s b (@Brooksajsb) reported@cogecohelps At Cogeco Eastgate Hamilton. Waiting 40 mins for service. One single clerk to serve customers. Poor service!!!

π¨π¦ Brian Jakovina (@bjakovina) reported@cogeco You sent me a final bill as our service is done, my father in law passed away, for $0.49.....50 cents. You really are going make me incur a etransfer charge with my bank for $0.49 cents? Seriously? No, are you really serious?

RealStevenJames (@RealStevieJames) reported@cogeco your support system has to be one of the worst. I have no internet to complete my work. Iβve spend an hour and half troubleshooting and trying to call. I was disconnected 2 times so I used to app to speak with support on there. Lucky me, that convo dropped too. Call me!

Loud mouth (@solkumar) reported@cogeco raised my monthly invoice right out of the blue by $50. Poor service and pathetic customer support. Called to cancel and they only work 9 to 5 from Monday to Friday. These people should be taken to code or causing misery to their customers.

Dom (@Dom_Posts) reported@MinorityFinge @blunt_always @andyalbertan For 1Gbs internet with Bell my family was at one point being quoted 112$ ans that was in the full bundle. Cogeco gave us 50$ for the same thing. Bell has better infrastructure but if a new customer goes to get their 1Gbs it only costs about 60$. Both have discount brands
