@tedwoodhead @cogeco About #CRTC nutrition labels: MP @MBDan7 said this morning that customers are frustrated with rural fixed wireless speeds, reliability. That doesn't get fixed by labels. It takes infrastructure investment. Need to stop doing stupid stuff that gets in the way of capital spending

@cogeco stop sending pushy salesmen to my door. If I want your service I will call you. You should be ashamed of sending your staff door to door in this heat wave.

Cogeco received #CRTC approval to shut down CKYK-FM-1 96.9, a retransmitter of KYK 95.7 in Alma, after arguing the additional transmitter is redundant except in a small sliver north of the city, and not worth the cost. The transmitter was originally approved in 2008.

@Canada19428452 @Blindsite2k @Starlink It does matter, regions do not have fibre/cogeco which is exactly the case here. For satellite internet, this far it's the fastest there is, we have tried all...they advertise speeds "up to" but it never happens.

The media is like calling Bell or Cogeco for billing or tech support. Call them 3 times for the same question and get 3-10 different answers. Or they transfer you to this person to transfer you back to get an answer. Your question is the same, but it takes how many people to fix?

@Starlink Interesting and I understand low net speed or not internet at all. Too bad the price isn’t changing because Roger’s and cogeco undercutting Starlink monthly subscription price forcing me to leave my Starlink up on house in hopes pricing will be equal or better. Canadian Starlink

@tedwoodhead @cogeco @MBDan7 People seem to think these #CRTC labels will fix rural fixed wireless. How? If there is a competitor, people would switch - but there usually isn't a competitor. So, it ultimately comes down to spectrum, towers, economics. Everyone wants 5-bars, but they don't want new towers
