Cheaper for sure, but slower speeds, poorer customer service, intermittent service (particular with Acanac). Also have a relatively low cost Fibe TV service $30/mo which I can only get as an Internet customer.

A friend with a recently deactivated phone needs to reactivate but without the fido number active there are 0 means of reaching customer service.
