Kevin ⚜️ Dorfer (@kevindorfer) reportedHey @Fidomobile, just landed back in Canada after a month in France and... guess who's pissed? I have this line with Fido, calls and texts only, since my data come from my other sim, French plan. No worries, I'd think. Wrong. They slapped me with $108 more—turned out, every time someone rang my Canadian number and it went straight to voicemail, boom, $18. Six times. Even though I never answered... anyhow, it's insane and next level greedy! My previous line was with @Bell and they never did this crap.
-
Author MJ ✝️ - BLOOD ON THE BORDERS (@TheHumbleLion_) reportedI want to personally thank @Bell for their exceptional customer service; Something that feels increasingly rare these days. Bell sets a strong example of how customers should be treated. Unfortunately, this has not been my experience with @Fidomobile, where customer support and business practices have fallen well short of that standard.

connor (@_connorrr_) reported@Fidomobile I have tried to cancel my mobile data plan and the only way to do so is by calling. I cannot do this because I am not living in Canada anymore and the international number does not work.

Jo (@Jo39908254) reported@Fidomobile Hello I have a hard time to talk to a person or reaching you by email I canceled my account in November 2024 and you owe me $5 since. I was told I would get a cheque in June 2025 but I never did I’ve been trying to make a contact since but it’s unsuccessful

Evan (@evanoftheyukon) reported@Fidomobile I was within the two weeks, I should be able to just cancel and get my money back. I tried it, didn’t work out, oh well. This leads to the first time I called in. I tell the rep that I’m looking to cancel my service, "Oh, let me check... (4/21)

Zee Hamid (@zeeinmilton) reported@Fidomobile - your service absolutely sucks! My dad's eSIM isn't working and there's no way to talk to a human. Your chatbot tells me that a human will call me on Tuesday evening! It's Friday! Who has time to wait 4 days.

Evan (@evanoftheyukon) reported@Fidomobile I originally signed up because of their $27 plan for 80gb Can/US/Mex, overall a great deal. Thing is, the service is really bad in my area. I can currently get around 500mbps down with Bell where I live, and with Fido I consistently get 2-3, maybe up to around 20mbps. (2/21)

Nojan Emd (@EmdNojan306) reported@Fidomobile another week went by and my voicemail is still in French. No support from Fido. I have been placed on hold for hours
