@CheriDiNovo @Rogers Government oversight is exactly what caused the problem!

  • sharinglung5 S (@sharinglung5) reported

@RogersHelps If it’s crediting just the hours without service it’s not enough. Some of us need the service to be working for our remote work. I just lost a day of work and so did many many more.

  • PeymanVarshoei Peyman Varshoei (@PeymanVarshoei) reported

@chethosahalli @RogersHelps @Rogers Yes, it happens for an hour or two, not for more than a day. My wireless connection is still down. I’m lucky I can work offline. But think about those whose lives and businesses are damaged because of this strange outage. It was not a natural disaster. It could be avoided.

  • SarahDettweiler Sarah D (@SarahDettweiler) reported

@RogersHelps Will you be reimbursing my family business the money we lost entirely because of the service you did not provide for an entire business day? Absolutely ridiculous that you are one of the biggest companies in Canada and you couldn’t resolve this quicker or prevent it.

  • WhatsMyPot 🇨🇦WhatsMyPot🍁 (@WhatsMyPot) reported

@RogersHelps Blinking greed LED on the gateway, no connectivity so still no TV no Phone and no wired internet. Wireless service is back.

  • TrickRude Slick Rude (@TrickRude) reported

@TorontoLonny @RogersHelps Awww...think Interac has enough for food, gas and clothing this mo th? Poor interac....wonder if they have enough money to make it through the month.

  • JasonLindholm6 Jason Lindholm (@JasonLindholm6) reported

@go_leblanc @quickshutterguy @Rogers Across the entire country, essentially shutting down a good 1/3 of the economy? Not a chance.

  • virgiliocorrado virgiliocorrado (@virgiliocorrado) reported

@RogersHelps @Rogers does an error code rdk-03117 mean there is an outage in the area and to just reboot the cable modem and the set top box?

  • GlenLuff Glen L (@GlenLuff) reported

@RogersHelps So what caused the outage? 🦗

  • Amanda_Parsons Amanda Parsons (M.ED) (@Amanda_Parsons) reported

@IronOmie @dm_tats @Rogers It's why Rogers is investigating it and seeing where the issue lied. It could be a maintenance issue, software issue, etc. Once they find out, they might let the public know, but more likely everything will be handled in house. The person blamed is never outed publicly.
