@JustMeJamie64 @Rogers They outsource it to companies that have call centers around the world. Your call could be routed to one in Argentina, India, Morocco, etc Rogers has been winding down their Tier 1 Care team to reduce overhead

ya know where CANADA is in TROUBLE? Our MAJOR CANADIAN MEDIA GIANTS like @ROGERS @BELL rely on those people down south for 90% of their CONTENT. IF we stop being FREINDS it could COST these companies HUGE $$. So WHOSE SIDE are they on? They gonna EFF us UP to stay ALIVE????

@JustMeJamie64 @Rogers Telus union isn't even allowed to say out loud the number of employees they still have in Canada, it's lower each contract negotiation even though number of errors by offshore reps is significantly higher

Just me - Jamie (@JustMeJamie64) reported

@2BikeisLife1 @Rogers They have AI support now, but AI couldn’t handle my issue.

  • The_Dumbening
    F-Word Scissorhands (@The_Dumbening) reported

@settofaze @Rogers Please Note: I am not in favour of it getting cancelled (**** Rogers and everything they've done the last 12 mos)

  • Airwave_1_
    Wake Turbulence (@Airwave_1_) reported

@ChelseaBeach @JustMeJamie64 @Rogers Acquiring Shaw put Rogers $26B in debt. To cut costs, they quietly scrapped their "100% Canadian" PR pledge, cut domestic support contracts, and pushed call center roles right back overseas to offshore vendors. PR promises don't survive a $26B debt load.

@JustMeJamie64 @Rogers There are several factors. Cost is a big one. The wages are far less elsewhere. As are the expectations of wages and benefits. And it's the work. How many people here would even be able to handle being yelled at by a customer? Or taking back to back calls for 8 hours solid?

  • BitterDan
    Dan Anderson (@BitterDan) reported

@JustMeJamie64 @CognizantBeing @Rogers Worked for Rogers for years. Their whole play is to charge as much as possible while making service extremely difficult or useless to reach.. means less costs for them. All 3 carriers are corrupt.

@TFCin110 @Rogers @RogersHelps Not necessarily by phone. Rogers has to work with you and respond to CCTS within 20 days. Document every failed attempt to get help—it’s evidence. In short: CCTS is free for you, but Rogers pays $ for each accepted complaint. So there’s definitely an incentive to resolve it ASAP
