After the @Rogers outage on Friday, a lot of businesses are laying the blame on #Rogers for their internet going down. While it is an inconvenience, for sure, if your business relies on internet to function, you should have a backup ISP to ensure continuity.

  • violentlybaked Brumbpo Tungus (@violentlybaked) reported

Watching livestream nasa stream for James Webb. This proves the Rogers network is still fried. My internet has been garbage for days after the crash. NASA cant get video streaming from Canadian scientists. @Rogers Fix your ****.

  • rodger_allen1 Rodger Allen (@rodger_allen1) reported

@Gatorlite_1 @Rogers We are also still experiencing problems… frequent picture and sound freezes. Not fixed yet!

  • Geoffcan1 Geoff Lepper (@Geoffcan1) reported

@Shay31906720 @RogersHelps @adrianathompso4 Outage wasn't caused by a storm but reportedly by a Rogers maintenance update. Believe that the Rogers outage last year was also caused by something that Rogers did itself. When the company caused the outage there is much more fault than if it had been a storm.

  • DonMcGugan Don McGugan (@DonMcGugan) reported

The discounts and promotions @Rogers is going to have to give from the outage should be amazing - everything should be negotiable over the next 6 months if they want to keep customers.

  • JamieON94964661 Jamie O'Neil (@JamieON94964661) reported

🇨🇦@NASA live re: more pictures from James Webb , host says they are having trouble loading in Canada, is this @Rogers again?!!

@RogersHelps @Rogers As a person with a disability, I need reliable service and that's why I have a cellphone and a home phone which didn't work and had no way to reach out for help! My contact is renewing & I'll find Telus or Public, but you lost my faith & trust. #rogersoutrage

  • jennjilks Jennifer Jilks🇨🇦 (@jennjilks) reported

@jpmacnab @Rogers We were with Bell until we were two weeks without a phone due to line damage. We now have a smartphone with Telus, TV with Shaw, Internet with Xplornet, and are happy to diversify.

@RogersHelps @adrianathompso4 2 days ?!?! That’s BS. The entire county went down and all you offer is 2 days!?!? @CRTCeng

  • ScottsCompEmpor Scott Dargie (@ScottsCompEmpor) reported

@RogersHelps How do you intend on crediting your business customers who rely on stable internet for their business? Or for businesses who had to shut down and lose a day or two of revenue??
