    @Rogers what kind of company makes you wait for a half an hour to speak to a supervisor? Also what kind of sales tactics do you use? I was told u was getting a tablet at no cost to me and then get a 360 dollar charge on my next bill. Clearly its lie to the customer to get a sale

    @RogersHelps Well just so you know, you are failing at that. You can't empower us if we can't even get a signal. Phone service in rural Manitoba is getting worse. You are providing us with less, and charging more for it.

    @RogersHelps I'll file a complaint. What does that actually do? Will it get my internet / tv up any faster - NO, is it going to fix the problem - NO, it is going to do anything at all - NO. Bell didn't lose a cable for a second time like Rogers, it's obvious you didn't tell people!!

    @major2571 @Starlink @Rogers I think this will expand once Starlink starts putting their V3 satellites up there, which requires starship. Starlink has purchased additional spectrum not currently supported in cell phones, that when implemented on both ends may allow you to get coverage directly from them. I personally absolutely refuse to deal with Rogers for anything for the rest of my life, based on multiple past experiences of abusive support.

    @major2571 @Starlink @Rogers I went to cancel some of my services with them, and they basically just would not do it. They would just end an online chat, where I had repeatedly asked for services to be canceled and they just would come back with a different offer. On the phone like you say over an hour to get through and then you say you want to cancel some of your services they say they have to pass you through to somebody else and just disconnect you. So then then you have your new provider notify them that you’re moving and they need to cancel. They don’t. After you’ve moved to a new provider, you spend months trying to resolve the bill where they continue to charge you and should not have been. I was canceling for Home Internet and TV because we got direct fiber to the home from a new startup in the area, five times faster for half the price. I was planning to keep them for our cell service, but after all that hassle, I just had to cancel everything. Easier to cancel cell service involving a number port because that makes it automatic in the Rogers system, but they’ll still try and charge you for the following month.
