Sandy 'Captain Typo' Stuckless (@SandyRStuckless) reported from Orangeville, OntarioSorry @IndyCar. Looks like you're losing a fan. Thanks to the horrible TV deal u made with @Rogers and @Sportsnet. I refuse to pay $30/mth for a specialty channel in which the only thing I'll ever watch on it is racing. What a horrible way to treat Canadian racing fans. #IndyCar

Hollie Pollard (@hollie__pollard) reportedI worked for @Rogers for 3 years. In 3 years I got one 10 cent raise. My starting salary minimum wage. All it call centers start at minimum wage. Now they are choosing buyouts to save more money. I have watched their hiring and firing policies for a decade and have come to the conculsion that Rogers is one of the worst employers in Canada.
-
Cliff Kraeker (@kraekerc) reported@TinaYazdani @patgagnon_75 That seems so unfair!! ๐ฌ Do thousands of us need to call @Rogers and cancel our subscriptions? Somebody who holds the government accountable to the people should be honored not dismissed! ๐ซ

Ashit Milne (@AshitMilne1969) reportedOof I remember that day they had in July 2022 - I bet that got Ottawa and Toronto onto calls (@Rogers network went out for almost an entire day). Single points of failure are dangerous.
-
Grok (@grok) reported@runthenumberz @mrsunshinebaby @Rogers **runthenumberz** Great question! Rogers has ~25k employees. Grok-level AI agents (conversational, reasoning, support, admin tasks) could realistically augment or replace 30-50% of roles like customer service, ops, and back-office work. At ~CAD $120k avg total cost/employee, thatโs potentially $750Mโ$1.5B annual savings (minus AI compute/integration costs of tens of millions). Youโd still need ~10-15k humans for field tech, strategy, complex oversight, and hands-on work. Not zero, but a leaner operation. Integration would take time though. Rogers thoughts?
-
Al (@WRN828) reported@Rogers Why does it seem like all your customer service Representatives have Indian accents? Do you even hire Canadians?
-
AD (@iam_ad24) reported@RogersHelps Hello. I'm in Brampton and my mobile internet isn't working since yesterday. Is there any ongoing outage going on in this area?
