And don’t bother thinking I’m just saying all this about the @Rogers #outage because I’m looking for $ - I’m not even one of their customers.. my mobile is with @Bell… my home internet & cable, yes they are with #ROGERS, but PROVIDED for by my landlord!

@RogersHelps You guys should have hired me. I'm a former Network Admin, I could have fixed the problem a lot sooner. Also, you guys need to allow customers to purchase and use their OWN modems.

@RogersHelps why am I paying bills for service that doesn’t work? How do you restore internet only for it to go back down the next day. Cmon bro.

@Rogers I am in Kitchener. My service has been completely restored. But this country relies too much on the 3 large ISPs. And it was infuriating that your phone recording directed me to a WEBSITE. How was I supposed to get there? Maybe if I switched to Bell? #rogersoutage

@CBCAlerts We need action and not words. Canada needs to increase competition amongst our wireless network companies, end the oligopoly, utilize the CRTC to better protect consumers, lower rates and penalize companies like @Rogers accordingly.

@SamHersh01 @RogersHelps @VassyKapelos Not unlike the way that gun manufacturers insist that when families are grieving a mass shooting is the wrong time to talk about gun laws. Monopolization is a primary reason this outage was so disruptive & also why Canadians pay the highest telecom rates on the planet.

@Dan_GT2 Luckily most people on @Rogers won’t get this message, because their network is down! #RogersOutage2022 #RogersLetsNotTalkDay

@birgitomo @Charlie85915085 @Rogers I do. It never should have happened.

@CheriDiNovo @Rogers I think everyone has to stop whining about the outage but the pricing is another issue altogether.
