Megan (@sohotitsart) reported from Calgary, Alberta@hallsy_30 @SaskTel Infuriating internet moguls! SHAW first told me my crap speed was my devices. 2nd guy agreed it definitely wasn’t. Tech who came to my house said I could have the privilege of paying an extra 10$ a month for pods to get the speed I should have had all along I’ve paying been for.

I politely complained at one point & they did give me 2 months free but my service is still spotty as a teenager. Oh well, it’s a pretty first world problem so I’m trying to be accepting. SaskTel Support (@SaskTelSupport) reportedSaskTel service outage impacting Whitecap Dakota First Nation and other communities May 27, 2026 – SaskTel is currently experiencing a service outage impacting Internet, Wireless, and Landline (SaskTel Home and Business Phone) services in and around Whitecap Dakota First Nation, Pike Lake, Gledhow and the surrounding areas. SaskTel technicians have been dispatched to resolve the outage, however, there currently is no estimated time of repair. SaskTel would like to apologize for any inconvenience this outage may cause for customers and thank them for their patience while we work to restore services as quickly as possible. In the event of an emergency, residents in and around the community will need to physically contact their nearest emergency services for assistance.
