Remember that one time when the @SaskParty tried charging everyone in the Province for a bad email service, and then decided against it ( after public outage ), forcing @SaskTel to take blame and hoping everyone forgot about it? That was a funny week. #skpoli

  • Drofmab
Greg Bamford๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ฆ (@Drofmab) reported from Regina, Saskatchewan

@cdnbeer Oh, donโ€™t get me wrong - Iโ€™m a SaskTel diehard (for mobile - nothing else) in Canada. They keep our rates cheap & their roaming is the best bet going in Canadaโ€ฆ literally flips to whichever carrier has the best signal at any given moment (Rogers/Bell/Telus), in my experience.

  • latesh140
latesh (@latesh140) reported from Regina, Saskatchewan

@indulgentcory @SaskTel I agree 5gb unlimited canada wide on bell cost me $65 and if I look at @SaskTel it cost $80+ . We want to support our local companies but not at our cost.

  • joesafety33
KM (@joesafety33) reported from Regina, Saskatchewan

@SaskTel @SaskTelSupport Well, considering I sent the original message on Thursday and u replied on Friday might give u a hint of my customer service experience! Yes I finally got thru, 50 minutes of waiting! And a twitter reply the day after! Brutal service!

  • mclean_brad

Nice test on sasktel max just now ๐Ÿ‘Œ And โ€œdonโ€™t contact sasktel support โ€œ ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ˜‚

  • habpipes
    M ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ฆ (@habpipes) reported from Regina, Saskatchewan

So happy Sasktel decided to do this infrastructure upgrade and shut down lanes downtown from Nov to Feb. Winter driving is miserable and slow enough as it is. Couldn't do it in the summer when everyone is on vacation and parking lots outnumber people.

  • mclean_brad
Brad mclean (@mclean_brad) reported from Regina, Saskatchewan

@TweetlessT12 Iโ€™ve set my filter to high and still doesnโ€™t help. Sasktel is incapable of filtering this garbage๐Ÿคฌ

Remember that one time when the @SaskParty tried charging everyone in the Province for a bad email service, and then decided against it ( after public outrage ), forcing @SaskTel to take blame and then hoped everyone forgot about it? That was a funny week. #skpoli

  • alexYQR
Alex (@alexYQR) reported from Regina, Saskatchewan

@ctvregina This will harm @SaskTelโ€™s residential business more than it saves it money. Sasktel will need to pay for additional support staff to assist customers, as well as deal with the fallout resulting in the general distaste in the province for what people feel are unnecessary fees.

  • alexYQR
Alex (@alexYQR) reported from Regina, Saskatchewan

@gold_brickin @SaskTel I agree. I also believe that terrible decisions are being made top down to all Crowns and are being implemented because there is no longer any rationalization or discussion on those matters.

  • HiGirlFriday
Krysta Konachowicz (@HiGirlFriday) reported from Regina, Saskatchewan

@SaskTel @SaskTelSupport please log that customer input on the new MaxTV set up is terrible. You are not Netflix. Who actually curates their titles and has an easy to use search function. Noone wants to go through 8 billion titles you have left forever and just made worse.

  • MarkTheBrewer
Mark Heise (@MarkTheBrewer) reported from Regina, Saskatchewan

@QuickDickMcDick @SaskTel As someone who was responsible for those rural networks, I can tell you SaskTel invested a fortune in them. And often exec govt footed the bill the bring better service into an area. There is no way a private company would have done the same. But ya, the service still sucks.

  • habpipes

  • alexYQR
Alex ๐Ÿ‡จ๐Ÿ‡ฆ๐ŸŒพ (@alexYQR) reported from Regina, Saskatchewan

@zaheedonism @SaskTel Honestly itโ€™s hard/impossible to hit gigabit via wifi on devices not hard-wired or wireless AX. Wifi 6e might fix that this year. The 500mbit upload is incredible

@sarc_sk Your commercial about disability at SaskTel is awful. Why not show persons with disability in positions commensurate with their education etc. I have a Masters degree, I donโ€™t work in a mail room.

  • SaskTelSupport
    SaskTel Support (@SaskTelSupport) reported

Crews will continue to work on repairs to SaskTelโ€™s fibre transport infrastructure throughout the weekend. However, there continues to be considerable risk for further interruptions to SaskTel Internet, Wireless and/or Landline (Home Phone and Business Phone) service due to ongoing fire activity and the nature of repairs involved.

  • hi_robyn
    Robyn R (@hi_robyn) reported

Love seeing all the hot takes about "if you think leaving SaskTel Centre is bad wait until we have to try and leave a downtown arena!" Aren't there are many many routes out of downtown rather than one bottlenecked parking lot?

  • stoontransit
    Saskatoon Transit (@stoontransit) reported

@MA5ONATOR HI Chills @MA5ONATOR, Saskatoon Transit only runs service to the Blades games from the special event stop on 23rd street between 1st and 2nd Avenue. For larger events SaskTel Center utilizes other resources. Please contact SaskTel center to confirm bus service from malls.

  • Freedom_Saskie
    RK (@Freedom_Saskie) reported

Starlink made deal with Sasktel,a crown corp. Sasktel will manage account and can demand service cancelled. Sounds to me like a foundation for a blackout if Sask rise up against the gov. Know this, We can still deal with Starlink direct and bypass the Crown for now. see ๐Ÿ‘€๐Ÿ‘‡

  • Shaejordann
    Teresa Gratton (@Shaejordann) reported

@SaskTel A line of yours is down in our alley. I tried calling to report it but your auto system keeps hanging up on me. I guess you don't want to know when repair is required.

  • SKnewstalk
    B (@SKnewstalk) reported

@sasktel is part of the reason SK families are so broke. The crown Corp is broken and needs to be put back in its place by @PremierScottMoe that means taking a step back to your roots of providing a valuable service at an affordable price, not gouging sk families.
