They keep our rates cheap & their roaming is the best bet going in Canada… literally flips to whichever carrier has the best signal at any given moment (Rogers/Bell/Telus), in my experience.

Sasktel will need to pay for additional support staff to assist customers, as well as deal with the fallout resulting in the general distaste in the province for what people feel are unnecessary fees.

Cities, and major highways. Not viable for my use.

SaskTel Support (@SaskTelSupport) reportedOn March 25, 2026 - Crews will be completing scheduled maintenance on the satellite network that supports SaskTel Landline Phone services (Home Phone and Business Phone) in Kinoosao. The outage is expected to last approximately 8 hours. The exact timing of the service interruption cannot be confirmed in advance. During the outage, residents who require emergency assistance should physically contact another person for help or visit your nearest health clinic or RCMP detachment. Winter driving is miserable and slow enough as it is. Couldn't do it in the summer when everyone is on vacation and parking lots outnumber people.
