Some couldn't even get out or work because of the snow. It's not just a today issue. These vans are an issue ALL winter long. The people making the decisions aren't the ones driving them, obviously.

I ditched Sask tel a year ago because of this issue, and was told when fibre was in the area it would be way better. Paying for the fastest available and getting a fraction of it and I'm NOT happy

Effective April 1, 2026, the province’s crown corporation will manage installation, equipment purchases, and billing in-house for qualifying rural businesses holding a valid GST number. This initiative directly supports small farms, mines, and forestry operations in areas where traditional fibre or broadband infrastructure remains costly and slow to deploy. Existing Starlink Business customers can switch to SaskTel billing at no charge, allowing them to consolidate services seamlessly. Sasktel is the best telecom company in Canada and drives down the other big 3’s prices in Saskatchewan. A public option is absolutely a good thing for esssntials.
