-
Kim Schmidt (@sneakyfox) reported from Saskatoon, Saskatchewan@MarkPoppen @cdnjay @SaskTel there's a dozen at least all getting stuck yesterday & today. Some couldn't even get out or work because of the snow. It's not just a today issue. These vans are an issue ALL winter long. The people making the decisions aren't the ones driving them, obviously.

-
Jim Clifford (@jburnford) reported from Saskatoon, SaskatchewanYear in year out @SaskTel's cell network gets confused about our time zone and changes thousands of phones to the wrong time. This is not very confidence inspiring about their technical expertise. The problem remains unfixed at 10(11)am.
-
Just Jan (@JaniceOwen) reported from Warman, Saskatchewan@ZiadFazel @SaskTel My house is small (by other standards) and the router is not that far away. I ditched Sask tel a year ago because of this issue, and was told when fibre was in the area it would be way better. Paying for the fastest available and getting a fraction of it and I'm NOT happy
-
Rev Barb (@forsyth_barb) reported from Saskatoon, SaskatchewanSasktel needs to fix its spam filter. This is getting tiresome.

Eternal Blue Six (@EternalBlueSix) reported from Saskatoon, Saskatchewan@SaskTel Thanks. Started a live chat but it's support, not sales. I'll have to call sales. Would I call Sasktel directly or my usual store, Bolt Mobility?
-
Gerard Muyres (@g_muyres) reported from Saskatoon, SaskatchewanRemember @SaskMLA @SKGov this union does not support you in any way. During the Sasktel strike they said “Moe Must Go”. The 600k co-op members do not support this union and their actions. We do support your party with our votes

Sasktel Issues Reports
Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:
-
Brian Doane (@bgdoane) reportedMr. Premier, the mega project is being severely hampered by very poor or nonexistent cel coverage in rural SK. It hurts daily productivity & could mean life or death for one of us if we need emergency services. What's your take? @CarlaBeckSK @evanbrayshow @SaskTel
-
Paplinski (@tpaplinski) reported@cselley There does exist in several iterations, what he describes. Co-op is an example, higher per item price with an equitable profit share There is Sasktel as a government owned service provider. Less customer service, higher prices, zero profit motivation.
-
Trevor Miller (@swooper74) reported@nationalpost @financialpost Sinking billions of our tax dollars into a bubble just before it bursts isn't what Canadians want, take that money and create a public telecom like SaskTel to give Canadians a better option than the high priced garbage we get from the big 3.

SaskTel Support (@SaskTelSupport) reported10:45 PM: A planned SaskTel outage will occur on March 11, from midnight to approximately 6:00 a.m., while crews complete permanent fibre repairs related to last year’s wildfire damage. During this window, Internet, wireless, and landline (home and business) services will be unavailable across multiple Northeast Saskatchewan communities, including Sandy Bay, Brabant Lake, Geikie River, Wollaston Lake, Black Lake, Key Lake, McArthur River, Cigar Lake, Collins Bay, Stony Rapids, and Fond‑du‑Lac. This work is necessary to repair the damage and ensure the long‑term reliability of services in the area. SaskTel apologizes for any inconvenience this outage may cause and thanks customers for their patience while crews complete the work as quickly as possible. In the event of an emergency, residents in and around these communities will need to physically contact their nearest emergency services for assistance. #skoutage

Douglas Tompson (@DTSaskatoon) reported@carytarasoffyxe @LaraFominoff Lies, dam lies and statistics. When someone set fire to a mattress in the alley and burned down a power pole, the SaskTel Repair Team explained that it was arson. I contacted the police to offer my CCTV footage with the start time, I was told it was a wiring fault. Hilarious!

Colin Stewart (@cstewartyqr) reported@tammyrobert Wait, what? SaskTel should be in SERIOUS trouble over this. I remember back in 2019 dealing with SaskTel because my sister was paying my cellphone bill. I wanted her to be able to have access to my account, so I asked SaskTel how to go about it. (1/2)
