@Murse759 I’m not entirely sure, why the big difference between SGI and ICBC. Perhaps coverage levels? Also if I’m not mistaken the profits from SGI Canada subsidize their provincial rates. I lived in Sask for five years and really enjoyed the service from both Sasktel and SGI.

@steamer9456 @SaskTelSupport This is just how SaskTel is, you learn to live with it. Crappy slow service with no explanation as to why, that cuts out intermittently then eats up your data until you’re stuck with slow everything. The bills are always sent quickly though so... there is your speedy service.

@the_RedJam Oh weird, sounds like a phone problem and not a network issue tho, I used to do contract work for SaskTel so I'd be the middle man for apple tech support for lots of older folks when I was installing internet and TV service to help figure out that kinda stuff

He too is pissed off they are contracting out of province. It costs us more, plus IT private services are frustrating & slow. It was better when SaskTel had their own staff. Talk about the cons killing another good crown that makes us money.

@SaskTel have you heard if Glencairn Sasktel Max and landlines are out? Neither is working in our house. The sucker vacuum is working next door where the box is. Could this cause the problem?

@WirelessStew I wish!! , my provider @SaskTel currently offers residential customers who have fiber, a max of 300 Mbps down, and 80 Mbps up. I've asked questions when can we get more, as Shaw cable fiber gets you 1Gbps down and only 16 up. I need to get a business connection to get 1Gb VPLS.
