    @Murse759 I’m not entirely sure, why the big difference between SGI and ICBC. Perhaps coverage levels? Also if I’m not mistaken the profits from SGI Canada subsidize their provincial rates. I lived in Sask for five years and really enjoyed the service from both Sasktel and SGI.

    It's been super odd to watch lefties react to the Rogers outage by celebrating Sasktel Imagine what would happen in SK if Sasktel went down. Also, they want Sasktel to be a complete monopoly.

    @CTVNews I live in Sask. and have all my services thru Sasktel. This outage only affected my shopping. Will never change over service providers.

    @SamyiMo @TheBeaverton Clearly they should have redundancies. The fact Bell, TELUS, Shaw, Cogeco, Videotron, Sasktel, etc. already exist didn’t prevent Interac’s service from going down. How would another 5, 10 or 100 competitors have?

    @MrCanSays @ProfSmithSask @SaskTel Gary Filmon, after an Election campaign during which he claimed he would never privatize our telecom company. Provincial Cons would love to privatize MBHydro too but we MBns have long memories & are not havin that. Meanwhile they use it as their cash cow as much as they can. 😑

    @influenya @ProfSmithSask @SaskTel Interesting history on Wikipedia. Tommy Douglas made the govt phone service a crown corporation. Brad Wall tried to privatize it & failed.
