@steve_boots @SaskTel WiFi is included, but the connection up to your modem is all you pay for with any ISP. Get a wired connection or a mesh system to connect to your modem. Or if you want WiFi that IS supported by Sasktel, they have a service called Optimum WiFi which sounds like what you want.

@sdjmaxwell @windypopfarm @Walkerfarm306 Good question. Sasktel uses odd LTE bands for longer range. Do Telus phones use them or do you get generic phones and just get poorer service than someone with a 100% compatible phone would get?

@SaskTel What would be the point now? Days later I've already had four different calls from your customer service since posting, have my sixth call out later this week. But thanks for liking the response to my tweet several hours before responding to me directly. Incredibly frustrating.

@colin_korol @PrisonPlanet I’m driving around everywhere at the moment as well, out hauling today, so some leases have better service than others. I’m with Sasktel though, so I get the best service possible off the towers, it is better than it used to be in a lot of areas..

So after seeing the story about @SaskTel and the Covid mask debate I can’t help but wonder why then the news staff @ctvregina don’t also wear masks while delivering the news? 🤔😷 is this not basically one in the same story. Or am I missing something or an exception to the rule?

@Sasktel just got the ph with support, sent me my notice that my ph plan rate is moving from VIP 85 to VIP 90, 5 bucks an mth more plus taxes, apparenty sasktel only needs to give you 30 days notice and its an done deal, 1 out 2

@YellowPudding @SaskTel The issue isn't just the wifi. It's that they promised to fix it, and when it was difficult, they decided not to. It's about an uncaring customer service department more willing to make it someone else's problem than to fix the problem.
