For over 6 weeks, our cable feed has not worked. Over half of our channels are pixelated ‘ unable to watch. @Shawhelp hasn’t helped. With two trips here, blaming a feed problem outside the house, and providing no updates. This is just a desperate escalation on NFL Sunday!

I am going to cancel my @Shawhelp cable service as a Christmas present to myself. 3 months of half of my channels not working, at full price, was being tolerated. Die Hard on Christmas Eve not working, unacceptable. @TELUS you’ll be up.... get ready. 🎄

They kept sneaking the prices up, so when a rep came by my door with that deal I switched and never looked back. Optik with fibre ✅ No matter though, both will always have issues trying to reach by phone.

@Leah_Holiove @Shawhelp I think where you live makes is a huge factor. Telus never worked well for me. Never managed to hit promised speeds. Always excuses. Shaw has been better for me overall. I think they both suck at customer service though.

@Leah_Holiove @Shawhelp Does it do that on every single TV or just one? Also when you say you need to 'unplug the box' is that just the little box or have you tried to cold reboot the main router? I find mine gets laggy at times and voice command/pvr sucks I have to hard reboot the main box.

@tdsin1974 @Shawhelp It’s a blue sky issue. When the blue sky button is pressed to talk to it then ut freezes. The only way then to use the remote is to unplug the box. 🙁

I can say for certain that customer service across the board is in a dismal state. Companies seem to care more about making MORE profit than about delivering excellent customer care.
