Today's #rogersoutage is yet another reason the government needs to divest @FreedomMobile from any sale of @ShawInfo. While all @Rogers brands including #chatr #fido are down, freedom customers have service because it's a separate network still.

  • AlsoKnownAs_AA Algis Akstinas (@AlsoKnownAs_AA) reported from Toronto, Ontario

@Mark_Goldberg @ShawInfo Good for people in AB & B.C. that can and want to bundle. But not focused on the underserved or accessibility. Have to have a fixed service, qualify. And accept zoned plan limitations. If you followed the Wireless Industry Review closely @TD_Canada these were some of key points.

@ChrisLaBossiere @Shawhelp I had a similar problem in 1998 and until I got a manager in the phone, they didn’t figure out that there was a problem with the buried cable coming to the house. The ran a temp cable from the light pole. Fixed the problem. Then next spring they traced the buried cable.

@Shawhelp I apologize - I was rude. I’ll try the online chat tomorrow. It’s just that over $400 has been charged for services I don’t have and it’s probably a system glitch that needs a human to fix it. I’ll keep you posted. Thank you.

  • klem_darcie Darcie Klem (@klem_darcie) reported

@ChrisLaBossiere @Shawhelp You actually got them to come out? Well that’s more than I got. Hours and hours of chat box tips and nothing retified. Covid service sucks

@DavidDa111877 @Shawhelp We’re moving in three months and will probably do just that. The problem is that I would rather stab my eyeballs before deal with utility companies.

  • JonLueke Dr. Viking Hat. (@JonLueke) reported

@ChrisLaBossiere @Shawhelp Also: If I had the option for Telus fibre internet, I would have switched. I'm actually in an area that doesn't have fibre service.
