  • MetalBlonde

Do you know how damn frustrating this has been @Shawhelp ? And that every time we try to speak to a superior, she won’t let us. That she’s been dicking us around since September 10th. Changing the price on a whim. Promising to get things done, never doing so. Now a $5K bribe...

Doreen (@p39mom) reported from Pender Island, British Columbia

@Shawhelp Hello Shaw, I’m on Pender Island on Magic Lake and my wifi isn’t working and hasn’t been all day. It has been spotty for the last few days. I believe you are aware there is a problem but could you update me when it will be repaired.

  • swonder77
Steve (@swonder77) reported from North Saanich, British Columbia

@Shawhelp on demand not working for a few days now , but you managed to send me my bill. Good luck collecting my payment. 🤬

  • ES_Studios
Christopher Woudstra (@ES_Studios) reported from Pender Island, British Columbia

@Shawhelp @ShawInfo so I took all the steps advised via an offline DM help desk session...after 2 hours of wasted time the only answer given to me was an upgrade? Apparently we have a 1Mbps/0 internet speed for $66! And I can “upgrade” to 5/1? And that’s my best option?

  • Captnwilly
Bill Perry (@Captnwilly) reported from Ganges, British Columbia

@Shawhelp For over a week now I have had problems with the TV pixelating and the sound cracking. Have had a online chat and a telephone call. The telephone call got cut off but nobody called back. Any suggestions.

  • IanGFoss

  • MetalBlonde
Karina Halle (on hiatus) (@MetalBlonde) reported from Ganges, British Columbia

@sadsirensong @MsYouDoYou @Shawhelp I will say that we agreed on a price in September. It was never 5K and we knew they would have to run poles and cables. But Scott hounds this woman to get any info and she changes the price each time. And now she’s quoting 5K with no basis and it’s been 5 months and nothing.,.

  • laurelcmc
Laurel McIntyre (@laurelcmc) reported from Sidney, British Columbia

@Shawhelp Trying day for my neighbors & business folks on the Saanich Peninsula. I was 12 minutes on hold to report this major outage - not good. However it was resolved within 10 minutes of reporting. Good.

  • swonder77

  • MetalBlonde

Now of course it’s this shady as **** SSI @shawhelp rep that’s asking for this money, that was never agreed on before. So yeah...we’re starting to think this is a bribe. What are you going to do about this @shawhelp? Pretty sure this is illegal. Anyone else ever had this issue?

  • p39mom
Doreen (@p39mom) reported from Pender Island, British Columbia

@Shawhelp Many thanks. My daughter isn’t on twitter but operates Our Little Flower Company in GRanville Island Market. I said I would contact you. Their internet has been down about 2 hours and they cannot use their POS system. Her contact number is 604-816-9753 if you can help them out

  • MetalBlonde
Karina Halle (on hiatus) (@MetalBlonde) reported from Ganges, British Columbia

We’ve been stuck using Telus internet via cell towers until this gets sorted out, and it works only half the time. @shawhelp told us we would have internet in September. Then in October. Then in Nov, Dec, Jan...now @shawhelp is saying they’ll cancel unless we pay $5K

@Shawhelp you know we pay an exorbitant amount of money for cable and internet and the service being 2 hours is unacceptable not to mention the frequent everyone’s home from work everyday outages!

  • McJohnson922

@Shawhelp I did already, Sunday night when it was at its worst. The tech was... less than helpful. Lecturing me about my passphrase because I thought I forgot it, only offering the bare minimum in advice, stuff I already knew how to do...
