@PeterVogel @Shawhelp In 2000 I was paying about $25 a month for unlimited 3G data in Japan. And $10 a month for a fibre connection to my apartment that hit about 60 MBPs. When I travel in Europe I usually get a month of unlimited data and talk for about $30. The problem here is competition.

Hi @ShawInfo @Shawhelp My grandma in her eighties in Metro Vancouver has had no Shaw phone service (NO dial tone) since last Tues (Nov 17). I spoke with your CS & they have a scheduled service call for the end of week. Given the circumstances, can you get a tech out sooner?

@ShawInfo I bought a new build home that has older homes on both sides serviced by Shaw. How is it that houses on BOTH sides of my house can get shaw internet but you REFUSE to run the line to my house? Your agents seem completely baffled by this. Has it never happened?

I was really looking forward to #shadowlands today but since we're now on day 5 of no internet (because @ShawInfo can't be bothered to send a tech for a week after a garbage truck accidentally took out our line) I won't get to join in. Kinda feels like a waste of vacation days.
