Sandra McLaren Boos (@SandraBoos) reported from Edmonton, Alberta
@TELUS @TELUSsupport @teluslabtest I just spent 2 hours troubleshooting with a rep in regards to not receiving incoming calls on my cell phone for 2 weeks from Mar 30 to April 10 as per bill. They would NOT help me with compensation after problem fixed and regained service.

KeeperOfSheep (@KeeperOfSheep) reported from Edmonton, Alberta
@YouTubeTV it's time to step up and #savecanada. @Bell @TELUS @RiverTVNow are not providing a viable service to Canadians

ChiefBadger 37-25-9 (@Harpe97) reported from Edmonton, Alberta
Morning Warriors! I think I’m going to cancel my #Telus cable package. All of it. I can’t get into anything. When the #EdmontonOilers come back, then I’ll renew. Let’s see what they say. Stay tuned 😂

Oiler Guy Steve (@Costello_stats) reported from Edmonton, Alberta
@Robin_Brownlee @AmandaCTV @ctvedmonton The whole city looks like **** honestly. Weeds everywhere, grass uncut, garbage everywhere. It sucks, but you sympathize with the city as they try to juggle it all... your yard should be taken care of by @TELUS ASAP

Ricky Mitchell (@mitchell_ricky) reported from Edmonton, Alberta
@SteveThePylon @SamInYEG It depends! Ive had good experiences with telus. For example i just upgraded my internet from 150mbps to 1gbps and it actually dropped my cable/internet bill by $50 per month. They were doing the internet for $85 and they gave it to me for $65 as a long time customer lol.

Lincoln Ho | Yegventures 🇻🇦🇨🇦🇭🇰 (@yegventures) reported from Edmonton, Alberta
@SteveThePylon @dailytechnewssh @TELUSsupport @TELUS @Rogers I also used to use Shaw. Had to reboot my modem if I needed to work for an hour without lag. When I called to cancel, they tried to sell me some sort of speed boost service. Nope. They should've just never slowed it down.

Aimee MacCallum (@AimeeMaccallum) reported from Edmonton, Alberta
@TELUS @WEMovement Hey @TELUS I’m kinda done with continuing to pay for a service I’m not receiving. The only person kicked off my zoom meeting twice. Can’t refresh my email. Making it really difficult to work from home #horribleinternet #evenworstservice #onholdforhours
-
Deborah Mullan (@deborahmullan) reported from Edmonton, Alberta
@DanDuckering @TELUS Well, we know that increasing the market share is more important that worrying about customer retention, since most won't bother leaving anyway. I hate Telus.
-
Tony Hornung (@cdnantman) reported from Edmonton, Alberta
$1000 @TELUS bill this month. 5X the previous month’s bill. All “airtime overage” charges. No warning, no courtesy call. Thanks for the “support”. Taking suggestions for a new service provider.

Lincoln Ho | Yegventures 🇻🇦🇨🇦🇭🇰 (@yegventures) reported from Edmonton, Alberta
@TELUSsupport I used to work in Assure. I've done everything on the last 24hrs client-side to fix the connection and eliminated all other conflicting devices. This is a TELUS-end issue. At the rate I'm going, my upload may be finished before my workday ends. I'm not risking it again for t/s.

Lincoln Ho | Yegventures 🇻🇦🇨🇦🇭🇰 (@yegventures) reported from Edmonton, Alberta
@etowntechy @dailytechnewssh @TELUSsupport @TELUS @Rogers And I'm an Optik TV customer too! I've even unplugged one STB, and haven't used the other one (PVR STB) in over a week. I pay nearly $200/mo for sub-par service. In Canada, the internet is an essential service. Imagine getting power or natural gas 60% of the time. @CRTCeng @TELUS

Harmony (@Coffee_Baileys) reported from Edmonton, Alberta
@mental_gas @TELUS Yup, Chad for me too today. 7 times in 5 hours. It’s actually a slow day.
-
Lincoln Ho | Yegventures 🇻🇦🇨🇦🇭🇰 (@yegventures) reported from Edmonton, Alberta
@JohnZmhr @plbg_s @Bell @TELUS It's strangely an 'essential service' that has been rationed out by providers and streaming services it seems. Imagine if gas was only working 80% of the time or electricity was 60% power.
-
Harmony (@Coffee_Baileys) reported from Edmonton, Alberta
@Saucy_Napkin Maybe you could help TELUS do something about these insane international calls going to everyone’s cell phones
-
Lincoln Ho | Yegventures 🇻🇦🇨🇦🇭🇰 (@yegventures) reported from Edmonton, Alberta
@JohnZmhr @plbg_s @Bell @TELUS They can also make VODs free. It's not like people aren't paying for service. I pay nearly $200 for landline, internet, and TV (basic + Cantonese). It's probably why so many are switching to Netflix.

Lawnmower Hospital (@lawnmowerhosp) reported from Edmonton, Alberta

-

@e45mcmanus It’s a good thought. Our Telus issue was resolved by then as it was an afternoon appointment. Gave me time to actually have lunch (novel idea).
-
Vance Avery (@vanceavery) reported from Edmonton, Alberta

Hey Telus, why is my internet still down?
-
Justin (@JustMikeTwo) reported
@fagstein I don’t know what is worse. Bad billing from Bell that you can NEVER fix or the major outage Rogers seems to have every or and then! Telus?
-
lonelyyyboi (@lonelyyyboi) reported
When you take in Rogers owns Fido and chatr, Telus owns Koodo, and Bell owns Virgin, and Freedom was purchased by Shaw. It’s crazy cause we all think we have a bunch of variety but if one of the big three go down a bunch of people are affected
-
Russell McOrmond (@russellmcormond) reported
@Mark_Goldberg We should pass laws that disqualify any vendor offering BDU, phone, or other OTT service from also providing the physical digital utility layer. Breaking up Bell/Telus/Rogers (Shaw) into smaller vertically integrated companies solves absolutely nothing. @ISED_CA @MinisterISED
-
r/CFL on Reddit (@cfl_reddit) reported
I got a whopping $3.00 in compensation from @Fidomobile for the country wide outage yesterday. @Bell @Telus which one of you guys have deals right now for new lines because I am leaving this dumpster fire of a company.
-
Steve K (@SKnudsen132) reported
@AJB_87 @CP24 Switched to telus a week or two ago So gladi did that instead of pay for another month of "service maybe? Service maybe not?"
-
lyss 🖤 (@alyssaalyssa__) reported
All you guys are talking about bell>Rogers or Freedom>Both but, if we’re being real, Telus has always been the real MVP. Best service AND customer service.
-
MRKN Myles (@TheMylesLive) reported
I’ve been live for one hour and my internet has cut out 9 times. @TELUS I do not understand how you guys are a multi billion dollar corporation.
-
Christa (@ChristaP2015) reported
@CstJPonsioen @Canuckula True but coverage and pricing is better with Rogers so I’m good with a one off random day without full service in over 15 years with them for better service/pricing/coverage etc. :-) don’t forget Telus crashed a while back too, it happens.
