@ShayeGanam I switched to Telus with the last outage and gotta admit, glad I did!!!

  • jemofalljems Certified Lover Gyal 👑 (@jemofalljems) reported

@ehdubzzz @Fidomobile Too bad they use Rogers cell towers, so it's basically the same thing my guy. Go Telus or Virgin

  • user_ops Hugo Pinheiro (@user_ops) reported

This Rogers outage has been interesting, it has showed that not only do a good chunk of business services run on Rogers, but the Telus data network has some serious growth issues, it was down the entire time for me, and it's still spotty.

  • KalebBetteridge liner 🇺🇦 (@KalebBetteridge) reported

@brent_whiteside That's not gonna change anything, a good chunk of Canada was left with 0 network, them renting off Bell and Telus Towers in the west wont change the fact we waited 14-24 hours.

  • HevaniBC Helsa (@HevaniBC) reported

@INTERAC Where’s the redundancy? IT 101 is for 24/7 services you have redundancy from another ISP. No DRP (Disaster Recovery Plan) in place? How can such a critical service, including 911, not have both? Telus out West is a far more stable choice with better coverage than Rogers!

  • threelittlenuts Jane Canada (@threelittlenuts) reported

@LeafandThistle This was a little priceless: I went to Telus to buy a pay as you go (solo mom need contact) and they couldn’t use their payment system. Good thing I have cash from when everyone was having accounts locked down/ I was ready to pay.

  • HanyaToderoff ♠️ ACE of Spades™ (@HanyaToderoff) reported

@NforEnd @sunlorrie People don’t get it yet that all providers are linked. Koodo is a telus company and when we had the rainstorm that took down Ontario this past spring - I had no phone and no internet for almost three days because telus was down.

  • menzies_charles Martin Menzies (@menzies_charles) reported

@tamalama67 Shaw Roger Telus they all have worse service than any tel-tech company in the US and a lot worse than in Thailand. I get minimal cell bars at my place now but in Thailand I got cell service on top of their highest mountain never had a dead signal or dropped call.

  • PatrickDusablon Patrick Dusablon (@PatrickDusablon) reported

@David_Moscrop CRTC top levels are stacked with former Bell/Telus/Rogers execs, and more often than not they act like they're still in the private sector and being paid by their former employers rather than the public service.

  • brent_whiteside Brent Whiteside (@brent_whiteside) reported

@Jewelanland No problem with my Bell phone, Telus home internet and TV or my RBC debit card
