@smitty_mark And somehow the impression these companies give to their customers is we should be grateful for them allowing us to be their customer. #Telus

@jaxsaid @MsYouDoYou I haven't had issues with Shaw. And the only reason why I went with them is because when I moved to the farm all Telus could offer us was internet 1 and satellite tv. Shaw gave us what Telus couldn't.

@redsealsteamer @QuirkyGirl69 I'm a telus girl too. Contract ends in Oct, hoping by then @shaw will still have a good deal because I use them for my internet service and home phone as well.

OK @TELUS I have to say that this is becoming old. I would love to watch the #WorldSeries2020 but I continue to get a choppy picture. Rebooting has not solved my problem and when the tech was here we thought the problem was solved. It is not. And this has been going on a week

@smitty_mark @TELUSsupport Yes , it’s been terrible . Usually my @TELUS mobility has been great , but it’s been poor the past few weeks - lots of dropped calls , calls can’t go through , static , etc . Like it was 25 years ago

@TELUS @TELUSsupport Escalated recurring 2 yr issue of telus home services to support & senior mgmt via countless documented emails w/ NO response for 6+ mths. Currently into hr 2 w/ tech support (AGAIN); still no working services, but we're consistently charged for extra usage?

@mobutils @CRTCeng @ShawInfo Also, HSA in Bell terminology refers to ethernet connectivity (PVC) without PPPoE. This was more common originally but pricing made the service moot. In Telus territory, both PPPoE and “HSA” are available on more equitable terms but ISPs tend to choose PPPoE as easier 2 integrate

@GamersNexus Here in Canada we only really have 3 maybe 4 options if we are lucky. And the big 3 (Telus, Rogers, Bell) all keep their prices the same as each other. Right now I am with Telus with 150 up/down and we started paying $100/month and we are now up to $120 now and we still have 1/?

@djhigg1 @staceykate1973 @ShawInfo Internet and Bluesky Tv service was very good. I had it in the old house. When they wanted $6000 to bring it 150 feet from one side of my yard to the other we went with Telus.

So, @telus's privacy team claims re-using credentials of cancelled accounts is within their policy and that it's my job as a former customer to keep on top of their terms of service and protect myself. All the while @TELUSHealth wants to to believe they care about privacy.

@levisan @TELUS The first 3 look like time verification (NTP = network time protocol). If this is something like a PiHole log, it's probably doing the 2nd and 3rd because you're blocking the first. In which case you should unblock these, stuff may break if your router doesn't know the time.

Hafeez Noorani 🇨🇦 (@FEEZYDoesIT) reported
PS, it looks like @novusnow is all over #SurreyBc and you can get 100mbps up and down for $45. You can tell both @telus and @Shawhelp to kick rocks! Internet should not be coating $100+ If you don't know now you know.

@Kiz_Kiz @Jennjo22 @TELUS That's great, in my case I'm fine. I'm sorry for your Apple products. I actually just use one of those wireless charging pads normally. Put it on at the end of the day and it's charged by the morning. It's only an issue for people that require that super fast charging.
