@mackenzie_moira @unionwill @TELUS Even without the pandemic, for the amount the gouge from us service should be far better whether phone, tv, internet etc.

@keithbaldrey Him faulting telus looked really bad when it released that there were only 31 call takers in the contract for VCH. This is on Mr Horgan & Mr Dix

@keithbaldrey Really? The governments missteps, lack of foresight are an afterthought, while Telus is stunningly bad?

@cassidyolivier @katiederosayyj They asked for 33 call takers. How many did Telus provide? So then the problem was not Telus.

@j_mcelroy The word I'm getting from Telus employees involved is that the service was a humanitarian offer done at no charge, and that call volume was about 170x what they were told it would be. I doubt BC Gov will acknowledge either of those points though.

@keithbaldrey If youve ever had to deal with @Telus you’d know this fiasco is par for the course. On a good day Telus is in a tight battle for one of the worst customer service, unresponsive, bureaucratic co’s in the country, on a bad day you get what happened.

@StephenLShapiro @adriandix @MedicineMatters I don’t understand why the vaunted free enterprise Telus giant struggled with this. They earlier launched very profitable telehealth scheme & you have no problems getting through to their docs for a prescription, why couldn’t they handle 50,000 seniors for vaccinations ? #bcpoli

@RobShaw_BC @TELUS Eligible people who called 100s of times also compounded the problem. I know that people are desperate to get the vaccine. I am too, but when my turn comes I'll wait a few days before I call. (and I'm actually at a higher risk for severe disease than others in my age group)
