@TELUS Thanks for the $500.00 cancellation bill today. You charged me a cancellation fee when I moved from Alberta to Ontario!! You don’t have internet or tv service in Ontario! And that’s my fault! Customer service needs improvement too!!

Spent over 2 hours on chat, then when their system was 'having issues', the phone with a @Bell_Support rep yesterday...then they were gone. Hung up? Disconnected? They initially called me, but couldn't call back? Service seems to be a 4 letter word with them. Will @TELUS answer?

@jfmezei Bell and Telus shut their CDMA networks down years ago. I remember seeing the old powered-off equipment in the Bank St CO. Did Rogers follow through on shutting its EDGE network down at the end of last year?

@StephanieCarvin I've had to support too many locations where all the wiring on the street to the building was just.. ****. One office in particular kept going down until Telus finally ripped up the cabling and replaced it all. That took 5 years of every customer bitching.

Verizon was to shut down its CDMA (2.5G) by end of 2020, but has postponed the date with no new target shutdown date set. (aka: same as Bell/Telus, stuck wth a lot of devices on roads, parking metres, alarm system etc).

@peternowak I wonder if Shaw & Rogers will pull their fastest tiers? Pretty sure they will like Videotron did, then claim it's uneconomical so they don't have to provide service like Bell/Telus due to fibre. But, that's also another file in front of the CRTC.
