  @StatisticsBC @VIAwesome Fair enough—public debate is healthy. But the core claims driving the marches (water grid drain + waste heat baking the city) still don’t match the actual engineering. These aren’t traditional evaporative data centres. Telus/Westbank designs use closed-loop liquid cooling—a sealed system that recirculates the same fluid, like a car radiator. Result: dramatically lower water use (company target: up to 90% less than conventional air-cooled facilities) and near-zero ongoing evaporation for the primary loop. At 150 W Georgia, the heat isn’t vented to the street. It’s transferred into Creative Energy’s district steam plant to help heat 200+ downtown buildings and cut natural-gas demand. That’s the opposite of “warming the city.” Protests highlight real questions about scale, power, and process. Those deserve scrutiny.   @AngelaUnspoken Every 2 years I switch carriers. I was with Telus for 20 years and a new customer pays half the price an existing customer does. So now I rotate every 2 years and get the best deals. Most people nowadays can’t because of the credit check needed that’s why they screw existing customers.

  @TELUSsupport between July 28 and today Aug 5 I have spoke to at least 8-9 Telus agents to resolve a problem . l've had agents diarize to call me back as follow up ... nothing. Any other business working like this would be bankrupt. Telus is the worst provider choice !!!

  @Travisdhanraj @Bell @Telus is just as bad. Tried to cancel my landline, wasted hours of my life with no results. Quit paying the bill, finally they cancelled and sent a final invoice, paid that and haven't done business with telus since.

  @TELUSsupport I have a bad experience with Telus Support over the weekend. A Philippino woman who said her name was Casey. I told her to do nothing on my account and today I got a $255 charge that I didn't authorize. I don't want to renew my contract.

  I should have said Telus slashed dividend 55% from $1.67 to .$0.75 , this drove the stock down, but we all knew this was going to happen, but EPS was $0.16 but consensus wanted $0.22, a big drop.

  So it sounds like Telus and possibly other carriers want to start charging a extra fee for better signal during peak times. Charging us for the cell service we should already be getting.
