Telus Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • tron Douglas Tr0n Soltys (@tron) reported

Likely why the message to Rogers employees today was: "we let Canadians down for 15 hours, we need to figure out how to help each other" (referring to govt + Bell/Telus).

  • kairojade77 Kairo (@kairojade77) reported

So @Rogers what’s the plan to compensate me for the Internet outage that cost me a whole days business ? Thank goodness my phone plan is up in a week I probably will be moving to Telus or Bell.

@Msbohemia_ Our apologies Msbohemia, are you still experiencing issues with you TELUS home internet service?

  • EastGTARealtor Chris Vale (@EastGTARealtor) reported

@jshoar Must be a Telus/Bell thing as I'm with Telus and they use the bell network

  • brainbah1 brainbah (@brainbah1) reported

@scott_robb @Kirsten_Hume that's my normal service from @TELUS. I had to buy a booster for home and vehicle just to be able to use mine. inside the house is -120-130db and 0 asu and outside it's -115db-120 and 5 asu

  • inlifesafety1 in.life.safety (@inlifesafety1) reported

Hey @TELUS why do you offer service to rural places, charge out the ***, then don’t provide service to rural areas? When we give you our address, shouldn’t you say “we do t service your home!” **** you. Sincerely **** you.

  • joel_racicot Joel Racicot (@joel_racicot) reported

@spencerbennett1 @jwporteous @JJ_McCullough Rogers, Bell & Telus are an oligopoly with limited competition (prices across carriers mirror each other) and, IMHO, collusion. Limited accountability for the damage to the economy that something like the Rogers outages and risible compensation.

  • brainbah1 brainbah (@brainbah1) reported

@Kirsten_Hume i needed a 700-900$ booster at home and a mobile one in the vehicle just to get the service I paid to not receive from @TELUS

  • Sbhz467 Get Your Own Flag Truckers! (@Sbhz467) reported

@Scribulatora Nope. Fed Gov can't maintain physical plant operations. Besides - the physical infrastructure ship sailed decades ago, and there's far more resiliency built into the sector than this latest outage shows (Bell, Rogers, Telus, Shaw). Let's wait for the report on what went wrong.

  • snarfmason Snarf (Jon) Mason (@snarfmason) reported

@yvrmo Don't have any other options unfortunately. Telus and Bell don't have service in office.
