@xxgeekygothxx @EuphoriaHaze420 @tnaboard Yet lets see, The congressional website has been hacked in the past week. Telus in Canada is down due to a hack Microsoft was hacked last week Tmobile and the CCP data was hacked Should they give you all back money or credit too? They were secure also...

The Rogers outage… For the longest time, I’d carry two cell phones. One on Rogers & one on Telus. I did it because of outages like the one we had yesterday. If an outage is going to cost you a lot of money have a back up plan. If you choose not to have a backup, it’s on you.

  • sanl S Loughead (@sanl) reported

@StephenPunwasi I just left Telus in April after many years, getting customer service was impossible. I am unhappy with Rogers for yesterday. I work from home, did not know what was going on and had no way to communicate. I was however safe and not needing medical or financial services.

  • Ampersand_TO Emerson Baxter (@Ampersand_TO) reported

@RogersHelps Well, that's it. Final straw. Your plans are uncompetitive, and your " most reliable network in Canada " garbage is a lie. @TELUS I'll be switching soon to you!

  • Avi_serfay Avi serfaty (@Avi_serfay) reported

@JoyAndDefiance I hope they will sue @Rogers ***... even the lotto wasn't working -tied to Rogers ...the first thing I did is change my phone service from Rogers to @Telus ... Hope they will not go down at the same time ...

  • meoberdere Nunya bidness (@meoberdere) reported

@margay77 @cczwolf Bell owns most of the towers out east, Telus in the west. All other companies piggy back off of these two. Rogers has its own network which is why the coverage sucks.

  • DanTheBookMan2 DanTheBookMan (@DanTheBookMan2) reported

@drandrewb That is the stupidest statement ever and is the OPPOSITE of the truth. Telecommunications in Canada (Rogers, Telus, Shaw, and Bell) have a price-fixing collusion without any outside, i.e. American, competition. Which is why we pay the most $ in the World. And get crap services...

  • Banfrauzen Critical Shot (@Banfrauzen) reported

This Rogers-Bell-Telus telecom cartel needs to be heavily restricted/regulated by the federal gov't. Self-regulation doesn't work. The customers get the short end of the stick whenever #nointernet happens

  • edwindownward Edwin Downward Author of Science Fiction Adventure (@edwindownward) reported

Also, I'm seeing a lot of the government should be doing that job comments. As a Telus customer I was largely unaffected at the level I needed. If this had happened to a true government monopoly all of us would have been shut down.

  • TheSlowBurn CERB Gotti (@TheSlowBurn) reported from Toronto, Ontario

How would anyone know if there was a Telus outage?
