@KkfromAB @Rogers I was rogers/fido for 24 years reception sucked. Switched to telus its expensive but way better network. Koodo or freedom if u looking for cheaper options

  • AlexTheGreatish Alex Clark (@AlexTheGreatish) reported

@nicklmg @SnazzyQ Wow that's terrible, must be Shaw. I have 1Gb/s symmetrical for $80/mo w/ zero downtime. Ty Telus

  • ericapomme Erica Young (@ericapomme) reported from Surrey, British Columbia

@TylerAnakotta @AlexTheGreatish @nicklmg You should be able to get Telus gigabit fibre, although we’re in kind of the same boat as Nick even with Telus—cuts out a few nights a month, but not with any reliability we can trace potential causes. Overall still good service for the price.

@ShastaMorgen @bowmancanada PS. We are in the country so are limited in our internet. It was Telus or Xplornet for a few years (both slow & unreliable) but now we have Starlink (Elon Musk's company). We signed up as beta-testers. It was a little glitchy early-on but is now 100x better than Telus ever was.

  • WalterWhiteAB WalterTheWhite_AB (@WalterWhiteAB) reported

@jeffHinesyyc @KkfromAB @Rogers I just switched from Shaw to Telus. It's cheap, yes, but you have to switch to roaming to get service outside of the city (or even at the edge of it). And the service can be iffy, but if you never leave a city it's fine.

  • cforde Carl Forde (@cforde) reported

@AnnaGHughes @Shawhelp Recommend Telus. I’ve had good customer service and good internet service from them for several years.

  • Tark4Real The Real Tark (@Tark4Real) reported

@KkfromAB @Rogers They all suck, Telus cell service sucks for us in a small city. They are like main stream media, all the same, all lie, all cost too much, all poor service to clients, all generally suck. Good luck in your search.

  • HiddenDesk 🇨🇦 Skully 😎 (aka Dean) (@HiddenDesk) reported

@KkfromAB @donahugh216 @Rogers They are all the same. Have been with Telus since Clearnet and they still use the same damn cgi animal commercials. Lately I stick with the devil I know.

  • KenHemmerling Ken Hemmerling (@KenHemmerling) reported

@TELUS A 3 day wait is fine for me as I have a cell phone but there are seniors in the neighbourhood without that luxury. Is it really OK to leave people without 911 service for that long?

  • Davefinito Davefinito (@Davefinito) reported

I can’t play valorant anymore. The desync is so frustrating. Maybe it’s cause I’m in Calgary and routing is trash. Shaw, TELUS, result is the same. You can pretty much say I’ve tried everything. Diff routers, network modifications, mobos, Intel, AMD, Nvidia, Windows, Ugh.
