    Aug 10 at 15:34 UTC: Telus website incident update. Recovery monitoring was interrupted again as community reports of outages and slow performance returned. Status is now investigating.

    @wealthmoose I'd do this in crayon if that would help. This is called a business deal. Google it, it happens all the time. ie: Bell and Telus and Rogers each use the others network as it saves them $ so they don't have to build an entire network saving them $. You seem ignorant of business.

    It turns out the two days before the Summerland fire, the Penticton city council demanded Rogers and Telus to update the horrible cell phone coverage. Neither the Eby or Carney govts even bothered to respond. Now there’s 12,000 Summerland residents in Penticton trying to get information on the fire and power outage and evacuation. There’s a massive bottleneck now and getting service is intermittent, at best. Where are the temporary cell towers? Total govt incompetence and mismanagement of the entire situation.

    @MrStache9 I ditched Telus over a year ago. My friends in Kitchener & my brother ditched Bell. Too expensive & ****** service. I haven’t had a land line for more than 10 years. I’m with Rogers now, for both home and cell service. Telus I was paying over $100 just for my cell. With Rogers I pay $25 for my cell. Cable wise, Rogers isn’t much cheaper but it is more reliable.

    I can't remember who said that the only free lunch is diversification, but even though I got my *** kicked with Telus $T.TO today still made some bank with some of my anchors $GWO and $POW. Some of my holdings have gone up 3x what I am down in Telus so perspective helps. Keep calm and invest anon

    @ADT, the non-compete with Telus is almost over. PLEASE Come back to Canada with ADT Blu, direct to consumer. Self-install security, no branches, just solid customer service & professional monitoring without them wanting to bundle your services before dispatching for your alarm.

    $T.TO @TELUS waited until long-time-CEO Darren Entwistle became a non-insider to cut the dividend. He tried RAISING the dividend near the end of his term, despite >100% payout, which was later struck down.

    @Mel02999853Mel @krisster8 @TELUS For me, it was the technicians dying in customers driveways on service calls that I had never heard about my entire career until the 💉 Customers calling where’s my technician, GPS shows them on site, dead in their truck in the driveway one in Ontario one in British Columbia.

    @MPelletierCIO 9$ target, at that point depending on what telus is doing, its an acceptable buy if they havent removed most of their old management, then its not a buy yet as they will continue to allocate capital incorrectly. It's hard to allocate capital correctly if you believe you dont need to understand how the technology works that you're managing and building. Bad Culture. Truth hurts. Telus is a dud until they clear the house
