@arakwar87 @TekSavvyBuzz @Bell Here in Montreal I have Rogers, Telus and Vidéotron that all supposedly compete for clients. They all mostly have their own network. I can switch from one to the other. Where are the protected regions?

  • jvsjoe Joe Van Snellenberg (aka Joe delivery guy) (@jvsjoe) reported

I heard that Bell, Rogers, and Telus collectively got more than $240m from the federal Canadian Emergency Wage Subsidy Fund. Instead of using it for employee wage subsidies, Telus used it to up investor payouts, Rogers cut jobs. Bell said We'll do BOTH!

  • KingKhalilBTC Khalil (@KingKhalilBTC) reported

@TELUS Massive scam price. Telus and Rogers and Bell operate a monopoly in Canada and the government doesn’t allow other companies to easily enter. Telus is a massive scam company. Some of the worst WIFI and cell phone prices in the world.

@smgrinus Yeah I can’t recall the speed but it was slow (not sure how fast internet 300 is but it’s not fibre) and lots of drops and wireless coverage was terrible despite having 3 ‘pods’ TELUS gave us free wifi booster and I’m able to get wifi upstairs whereas previously it kept dropping

  • TakaakiMasuda1 Taka🖖🇨🇦 (@TakaakiMasuda1) reported

@smgrinus Shaw internet 300. But after all the rental of pods and modem and landline, the cost was $186/mo. The new TELUS one is fiber so it’s fast and it’s $135/mo. We kept landline for emergency use to contact home

@TekSavvyBuzz @Bell Add in @Telus with countless hidden fees. Every time you press a button you are charged. Its tantamount to #highwayrobbery of low & middle income Cdns. This refers to services for shi..ty TV slow internet despite touting high speed fiber optic internet. What a farce!!!
