Shawn DeWolfe - Cascadian (@dewolfe001) reported@collectibledad @TELUS They billed me for a bogus service for the longest time. After I cancelled altogether, they tried to keep billing me. I said I was going to let it go to collections, then a small claims action, then make my defense / precedent there. @telusmobility finally stopped billing me.

Jon Benet Rammstein (@jbrredux2) reported@PeterMeiszner @BoVanston @TELUS 80% of a large number is still a **** ton of water. No one buys your lies anymore. Data centres serve no one except the parasites profiting off them

Fesscentury (as an Ant 🐜) (@Fesscentury) reportedthe fifth remote job application ant made on telus is "ai data annotator role." preferred availability for this job that pays between $6-$12/hr is 4-40hrs per week your job here is to help ai "see" and "understand" the world by labeling images, text, and videos you don't need past experience as a data annotator to work this job what you'll do is simple : • image labeling: look at photos and draw boxes around objects like cars, trees, or people so the ai learns to recognize them • text categorizing: read short sentences and tag them based on their meaning (for example: "is this a question about the weather?" or "is this a customer complaint?") • data cleaning: review lists of information and remove duplicates or fix simple spelling errors so the ai has clean data to learn from simple comparisons: look at two different answers written by an AI and pick which one is better and easier to understand the assesament for this gig is also cheap which i've done. now, i'm just waiting for feedback

Dodge (@mtnpic) reported@NoahGairn @MattShel1989 For me, this aversion is a mote choice, and really doesn't belong to them exlcusively. Maybe time to help the RACF staff who are indifferent to move on. Maybe a career with Telus?

John (@BigDaddyFrom3) reported@BoVanston @PeterMeiszner @TELUS Yes that would literally help if everyone did it?

Geometric Abstraction (@Value_Theory) reported@windscribecom Don’t worry, they’ll give our pension funds to Telus to replace you with a much worse guaranteed to fail venture
-
Neil (@Revelat_i) reported@MarkJCarney The money telus received during covid to support federal surveillance should cover the costs.

ZeroPathos 🇨🇦 - Nasty Canadian (@PathosZero) reported@HRHRWH1960 @TELUS As for the issue, if you don't already know that, you should do a quick google of what these AI data centers are doing to towns in the US. Carney was a better choice than Poilievre, but that doesn't mean he then gets my blind support on everything.

Evar Orbus and His Galactic ****-Wailers (@JizzWailers) reported@PeterMeiszner @BoVanston @TELUS Nobody wants this, **** off

Millennials for Democracy (@millennials4_wp) reported@caroltreardon @bcndp Telus is the first corp. I realized was completely unethical in Canada. We STILL need to go after corps like this. It absolutely should die off- & they sure as s*it shouldn’t have access to anyone’s medical records… 🙄😒🤔👀 Never mind any further public trust from ppl.
