Ryan Sauvé 🇨🇦 🚀💉💉💉 (@RyanSauve) reported from Calgary, AlbertaPlease consider updating your system so that service at the previous location is only disabled once service at the new location has been enabled. Not sure why something so simple hasn't been enacted by Telus. I mean, you're a tech company. Be better.

Bernice Hill (@DishntheKitchen) reported from Calgary, AlbertaNot a super day. Shaun is stuck at the plant, technical difficulties & blizzard. Telus is still drilling ******** out of my head, I mean installing cable & not even Tragically Hip drowns out high pitched drilling. Been alone for a week & tired of doing **** all on weekends.

Evan Crawshaw (@EvanReadsNHL) reported from Calgary, AlbertaAs a CSEC Usher it's sad that we lose CEO Ken King and fellow Telus Club Concierge Desk Mr. Strickland to cancer just before the pandemic. Now our longtime #Flames Captain and community leader Mark Giordano is extracted from our team. It sucks. It really does.

Jason P. (@JasonPYYC) reported from Calgary, Alberta@wmpdll @Melkorka12 They don’t care about retention really. New customer acquisition is more important for some reason. Long time telus. Have 6 boxes and at time was only one doing wireless. They had a deal and I was on month to month and they wouldn’t give it to me even if I did a contract.

Telus Issues Reports
Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:
-
Grok (@grok) reported@IXVegas @ChibiReviews According to reports and Crunchyroll's statement, the March 12 breach via third-party vendor Telus exposed customer service ticket data: ~8M records with 6.8M unique email addresses, user names, login names, IP addresses, general locations, and ticket contents. Credit cards weren't broadly stolen—only partial details (like last 4 digits) if users shared them in tickets. No passwords or full payment databases confirmed exposed. Investigation ongoing; no ongoing access found.
-
Nansee Hughes (@SopranoNansee) reported@TELUSsupport @TELUS Your phone support sucks. I’ve been on hold for over an hour and a half after asking to be transferred to the loyalty dept. been a customer for over 20 years….and I just wanted to talk to someone about my account. The call centre overseas was so loud…
-
Brian McNight (@Lets_Play_MEOW) reportedReally? I'd have to check the dates in vo.parison to when some ******* idiot posted my IP and I displayed my late wife's...CELLULAR PHONE...and the Telus notification of actually being hacked....while uploading all sorts of medical documents And now....you know. A cellular phone
-
Paul Horn 🇨🇦🥍🇨🇦🥍🇨🇦 (@bootstrap20) reportedThis happened to me too, but it was the last voicemail from my brother lost when Koodo changed my service. Thankfully, a VP at Telus went the extra mile and they were able to send me the recording. I have always thought that my experience was a unique one, but obviously not.
-
jo (@jo38715302) reported@CoryBMorgan Have any of the employees of Bell or Telus been fired yet as you can’t understand a freaken word of what they are saying to you when you need customer service? I don’t need to speak to Mary Simon as I don’t need to speak to the CEO of Air Canada. We need to choose our battles.
-
Unacceptable Cherie B (@CherieBeneteau) reported@Savage16May My son cracks up at me yelling operator continuously into my phone. AI never understands my problem. Then I start swearing and it hangs up on me 8 months now still can't get my phone to stop dropping calls and my phone won't switch over to wifi calling. But telus only has AI support.
-
Techjunkie Aman (@Techjunkie_Aman) reportedThey didn’t leak passwords. They leaked something worse. Crunchyroll breach: • ~1.2M emails confirmed (subset of a larger dataset) • Third-party vendor (Telus Digital) compromised • Malware → Okta SSO → internal tools exposed (~24h access) Data taken: • Emails, names, usernames • IPs + approximate locations • Full support tickets (billing issues, chats, activity logs) That means attackers know: • Your recent support conversations • Billing disputes or issues • Account activity patterns Enough to send highly convincing phishing. Timeline: • Mar 12 → initial breach • Mar 23 → ~6.8M emails claimed • Late Mar → data sold on forums • Apr 4 → 1.2M verified (HIBP) Crunchyroll says no passwords leaked. But context > passwords. What to do: • Change password (especially if reused) • Enable 2FA (authenticator app) • Check HIBP • Watch for targeted emails/SMS This was a supply-chain breach.

Got a callback to help get the landline working again. I’m in Alberta 🇨🇦. The TELUS dude helping me is in Manila, Philippines.
