  • Vipul___ Vipul (@Vipul___) reported from Calgary, Alberta

The only reason I’m staying with Shaw cause they have monopoly in my area. How come @TELUS is letting them play like that. Hope @TELUS invests in some infrastructure. Shaw is beyond horrible in terms of service and promise @Shawhelp

  • ReWorksYYC REWORKS (@ReWorksYYC) reported from Calgary, Alberta

    @BazingatheoryCA @joeywants @TELUS Thank you. I hope they fix soon. 😐

  • Crackmacs cm (@Crackmacs) reported from Calgary, Alberta

@Patrick_ORourke @carmelapharaoh @TELUS Telus owns koodo, so koodo will always be cheaper of the two. I just switched away from koodo. Horrible customer service setup

  • ReWorksYYC REWORKS (@ReWorksYYC) reported from Calgary, Alberta

Hey @TELUS, why is my internet connection suddenly so bad now? I have changed nothing. #internet #badconnection #yyc

  • Lisa_Beauchamp Lisa Beauchamp (@Lisa_Beauchamp) reported from Calgary, Alberta

@TELUSsupport @TELUS Your tech support or lack thereof is horrendous! I cannot get through! No internet connection for over 24 hours!

  • NikitaKalonji Nikita Kalonji (@NikitaKalonji) reported from Calgary, Alberta

All I had to do was start typing “Dad” and my service came back; what the heck @TELUSsupport @TELUS why couldn’t my phone receive or make calls or sms for the past 30min?!?!

  • RogerJBaker Roger Baker (@RogerJBaker) reported from Calgary, Alberta

@fakeezzie I tried tethering but couldn’t get it to work. We have a box that allows for fail over service. I may need to get Telus in as a back up. I’m waiting for @SWCalgaryGuy to pull strings and get fibre to my house.

  • SoulfulHarmony N. (@SoulfulHarmony) reported from Calgary, Alberta

I repeat! No one should become a customer of @TELUS they have no idea how to support their customers, let alone loyalty members during this pendamic @TELUSsupport you could learn from your competitor @ShawInfo

  • jeterfan28 cara (@jeterfan28) reported from Calgary, Alberta

Just want to say huge thanks to our @TELUS repair guy Mitchell. He came short notice to my house to fix our internet, tv, phone and booster. If anyone needs a good, friendly repair guy I’ll share his business card

  • badmonkey68 The Sudsy Scoundrel🍻 (@badmonkey68) reported from Calgary, Alberta

@MobileSyrup Wow. Just got an update from Telus Support that the Pixel 5 I ordered from them Nov 18 is 6 to 8 weeks out. One tech told me covid issues at the plant. Have y'all heard anything?

  • m_belenky Megan Belenky (@m_belenky) reported from Calgary, Alberta

@TELUS why don’t we have service?! Anyone else in #YYC experiencing the same thing??

  • mlindsay65 Mike Lindsay (@mlindsay65) reported from Calgary, Alberta

The @telus Optic TV app is horrible! Can’t stream on their “5G” for more than 30 seconds without it freezing. Brutal.

  • Chrisburby1 ole ole ole (@Chrisburby1) reported from Calgary, Alberta

Everyone should do a credit check on themselves once a year just found out that #telus has something against me for a place I’ve never even heard of... maybe thats why I didn’t qualify for 0% interest when I bought my car

  • richardwfrank8 richard (@richardwfrank8) reported from Calgary, Alberta

@TELUS wondering how there is always a wait for over an hour to get customer service on the phone...always! This is crazy!

  • Crackmacs cm (@Crackmacs) reported from Calgary, Alberta

@daddyandmadi @adolwyn But still a viable solution, and there's others. The point is the government didn't even try. Instead of focusing the blame (without reason no less) on teachers, focus on the solutions and the government who refused to even explore them. Hotels, Telus convention center, empty

  • MichelletypoQ Dr. MichelleTypoQueen (@MichelletypoQ) reported from Calgary, Alberta

@rdc7801 @JulieRohrYEG @YourAlberta Taking credit for their work.. much like he did with Telus Babylon.. he doesnt have anything to brag about so he takes others ideas and programs (see feds international airport protocols) as his own. Hes an idiot

  • ve6dpa M.G. Duggan Tweeting Trucker🇨🇦 (@ve6dpa) reported from Calgary, Alberta

@SAndersonshpk @Shawhelp They're horrible right now! Not sure what the heck to do? Really don't like Telus either.

  • Dave_Khan David Khan (@Dave_Khan) reported from Calgary, Alberta

@Crackmacs Shaw Mobile. On Shaw at home as well as Telus has weirdly not installed fibre in our block. We’ve moved around and reconfigured our Shaw Gateway Modem and pods so many times and there’s still problems with the TV and internet in places in our (not gigantic) house.

  • Crackmacs cm (@Crackmacs) reported from Calgary, Alberta

@Patrick_ORourke @carmelapharaoh @TELUS I was of the same opinion...until i need tech support. And now im with virgin, with higher data, a lower bill, and actual people to talk to.

Telus Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • kettle_o kettle (@kettle_o) reported

@Stormzystarz Theres Telus International too if the position is still there. Its US Rater but i think they have others. Gives around 200 a month, stay at home, an hour a day, 5 days a week but you can do 7. Its like you rate ads and give small reasoning on the rating. It might help a little.

  • snowgirlct C. Turner (@snowgirlct) reported

@LMMcKenna @birgitomo @Rogers Our home phone, internet, TV are Rogrrs but cellphones are Telus. Will never have all services under 1 providers. Can't believe businesses don't diversify their providers too.

  • terry_yzt Terry Young (@terry_yzt) reported

@RodKahx Also the absolute insanity to think that somehow Bell, Telus , Westjet, Sobeys, Save-On etc haven’t been doing THE EXACT SAME ****

  • shepherd_360 Speaking for the planet (@shepherd_360) reported from South Wellington, British Columbia

@MoistlySpeaking @DeceitinDrugs @jjhorgan I think you may be able to do that if you subscribe to the health service owned by Telus. Personally the last thing I want is more of my personal information publically available. It's bad enough Google provides an ad for aspirin when I talk about a headache around the devices.

  • roykand Roy17 (@roykand) reported

@MobileSyrup No choice for home internet as bell caps out at 50mbps in mississauga. Such a shame that the crtc had allowed this. Cell phone definitely switching soon to bell or telus. Cant take this **** the 3rd time.

  • MarieBoyce7 Marie Boyce (@MarieBoyce7) reported

@scott_robb @Kirsten_Hume Pretty sure she’s referring to the lack of choice in Canada. If that happened in the States it wouldn’t shut down their economy for over 24 hours… We have Rogers and basically Telus. One goes down and it’s pretty much 50% of Canada goes down with it..

  • mlunsted Mike Lunsted (@mlunsted) reported

@StephanieCarvin @a_picazo @VassB What should be happening, IMO, is using other carriers as backup. If Rogers goes down, then traffic should be load balanced between Telus and Bell and let Rogers pick up the tab later. But that’s a whole different bag of cats.

  • ismailsahil_ Ismail SAHIL (@ismailsahil_) reported

@MobileSyrup I have tested both Telus and Bell worse service this can happen to any network

  • joel_racicot Joel Racicot (@joel_racicot) reported

@spencerbennett1 @jwporteous @JJ_McCullough Rogers, Bell & Telus are an oligopoly with limited competition (prices across carriers mirror each other) and, IMHO, collusion. Limited accountability for the damage to the economy that something like the Rogers outages and risible compensation.

  • Deceptiquan1 Benjamin (@Deceptiquan1) reported

@MobileSyrup I was already planning to switch to Telus when my Fido contract is up in Dec, I've been dealing with poor cell signal in my office for the last 2 years so the recent outage was just happenstance
