@Tarzan_Stan_ @BambroughKevin Maybe people are gonna leave Rogers after this major incident outage. Long Telus and Bell!

  • reaktor_field ReaktorField (@reaktor_field) reported

@tcheramy Agreed. But that won't happen internally. Great pressure needs to happen on the outside so that this *never* happens again. Not only with Rogers, but wit the rest of the Big Three that are Telus and Bell. But I have no hopes of that happening, especially with a gutless CRTC.

  • Blindsite2k David McCauley (@Blindsite2k) reported

@MalaMoragain @Rogers Big telecom is getting too complacent. Reminds me of why I left Telus. They have a thing for treating their customers like ****. Apparently Rogers isn't any better.

  • A_d_Amore Ad'Amore (@A_d_Amore) reported

@CBCNews It is time to allow customers to freely roam on Bell on Telus, when one network goes down. That should be a federal goal.

@HerbalGodfather @TELUS Boy, put the mushrooms down and take the tin foil hate off… radio waves used in telecom are less harmful than standing out in the sun for an hour

  • bellab2181 bellarose (@bellab2181) reported

@telus After a month of issues, going to Telus stores, apple stores and talking to tech support for countless hours we have no resolution. A manager doesn’t call back when he is suppose. Did I get a call back on Thursday like he said, nope. Unacceptable.

  • 09rtse Jon (@09rtse) reported

@JJ_McCullough If anything this is proof nothing should be centralized. How is it Interac also suffered an issue? Blamed it on telecom issues, yet Telus controls 90% of telecoms in the west…not rogers. But somehow Interac only uses rogers telecoms? Mmmmhmmmm

@NorthernIncome @PassiveCndIncom Pathetic. Good for you Rick. I lost a customer who went elsewhere. $1300 loss. If they don’t give me that I’m going to bell or Telus

@SteveRickettsSP There are several reasons - ranging from marketing, to a lack of confidence that the “discount” brand will be around. (Eg. Telus when they swallowed clearnet - kept the Clearnet branding, but the service offerings disappeared …

@David_Moscrop *I say by choice, b/c if the Shaw merger goes through, my choices in BC for internet are Telus’s (who only escape the poll b/c of their Western focused footprint) subpar offerings, or keeping my existing great fibre service after it transitions from Shaw to Rogers post merger
