@peternowak It isn't only and just "Internet". It's also very poor privacy and security protections for poor people. Per Telus own words: "If you want better protections you have to upgrade".

  • UFAcooperative UFA Co-operative (@UFAcooperative) reported

Residents in the affected areas will not be able to access TELUS services including landlines, cellular devices, internet etc. AHS has advised that 911 will still function as emergency processes are in place.

  • sportsjunkie007 Free Agent Kevin (@sportsjunkie007) reported

@cspotweet @deanvince If you're a Telus customer, being able to reach anyone at any time is always a coin flip.

@smith_plandcs Fortunately I use the other wireless provider. Those on Telus don't even have 911 service. They are racing to fix it

  • KarlieMildraed KarlieMildraed (@KarlieMildraed) reported

@martini68427538 @AB_EmergAlert I read what happened. Just that the AB Emergency page for the outage has a Telus link to which it connects to a page without any info on the outage. Basically a 404 page. Which is not helpful and should be removed.
