I'm happy cellular Co's offer "free" data to support people thru these times, but seriously. We get credit down the road sometime, AND we're still forced to pay for more data if we max out. Thanks @koodo @TELUS Not worth being a good customer.

A little bit of hell at home - 4 days after Fiona #pei has poor smart phone service from @bell @telus, virtually no wifi and 75% without lights and heat. Every day has been a trial of some sort. Oh well, it can only get better. And we go to bed by 9 in the dark.

.@TELUS called me to chat about switching my business account to them. WTF?!? Calling from Montreal! I suggested he get a f’ing clue and not be spamming anyone in the 902 area code and that they are the only carrier throttling data instead of gifting it right now. #fail

@zeagan No Eastlink is by themselves- Telus and Bell have an agreement! Our internet at home has been really slow too

@AnthonyLacavera I'm aware of the deal but don't accept your premise that it will reduce competition. It will mean that Telus is facing an equivalent competitor for wireline service, and Freedom was never more than a specialty wireless service (and I use it).

@theJagmeetSingh I just listened to a never-ending Telus sustainability blub while waiting for a live body. All three people I talked to were out-of-country techs. Telus is woke, hope they go broke. They claim to be operating on 100% renewable energy in a few years. Relocating to Fantasy Island?

@SoniaFurstenau @adriandix People going to desperate measures shows the trainwreck that public health care is, at the hands of NDP Harcourt govmt , who introduced fee for service and made it very difficult for foreign doctors to get licensed. But when we can't find ANY doctors, Telus becomes last resort
