  A little bit of hell at home - 4 days after Fiona #pei has poor smart phone service from @bell @telus, virtually no wifi and 75% without lights and heat. Every day has been a trial of some sort. Oh well, it can only get better. And we go to bed by 9 in the dark.

  .@TELUS called me to chat about switching my business account to them. WTF?!? Calling from Montreal! I suggested he get a f’ing clue and not be spamming anyone in the 902 area code and that they are the only carrier throttling data instead of gifting it right now. #fail

  I'm happy cellular Co's offer "free" data to support people thru these times, but seriously. We get credit down the road sometime, AND we're still forced to pay for more data if we max out. Thanks @koodo @TELUS Not worth being a good customer.

  @genocidalgirl Yes. I get promotional calls from Rogers, Telus etc. often from some Indian with their stupid accent to which my reply is always “I only do business with Canadians”. They hang up on my every time. I’m far meaner with the Indian fraud/scam calls.

  @SidewalkSeedli1 @MrStache9 You are correct. But I have another year before the deal is over and then my cell service will go up to$45. Still $70 cheaper than Telus. I had Telus home service. It would drop off at least four times a day and I lose the tv as well. Very irritating when you are watching any sport or movie. I’d gladly pay the extra for reliability.

  $TU — Dividend investors in TU just got peeled. TELUS announced a brutal 55% dividend cut to $0.1875/quarter, coinciding with a $2.1 billion non-cash impairment at TELUS Digital. This drove a $1.8 billion net loss for Q2. This wasn't a minor tweak; it's a clear signal of deeper operational challenges, especially within their digital segment, following a Q1 dividend growth pause and a 52% net income drop in May. The drastic dividend reset aims to deleverage the balance sheet, targeting 3.0x net debt/EBITDA by end-2028 from 3.5x currently. This move is expected to save $2.7 billion cumulatively through 2028, with the DRIP discount ending October 1st to further reduce dilution. Full-year guidance was slashed across the board: service revenue now flat to -2%, Adjusted EBITDA -2% to -4%, and free cash flow around $1.8 billion.   @VanIsleInvestor @gulbraa24 @TELUS It's so bad. This is layer 1 of the onion. Share price needs to go below 9 for the directors of the company to realize the management is filled with people who pretend to know what they're doing. There is potential, but there would need to be an office space culling.

  @TELUS What happened to Telus- used to be a great provider. Now it’s a shell of itself. They cancel your service without your approval. Now you have to do all sorts of credit checks to get your service back that they messed up in the first place. What a joke.
