I'm happy cellular Co's offer "free" data to support people thru these times, but seriously. We get credit down the road sometime, AND we're still forced to pay for more data if we max out. Thanks @koodo @TELUS Not worth being a good customer.

.@TELUS called me to chat about switching my business account to them. WTF?!? Calling from Montreal! I suggested he get a f’ing clue and not be spamming anyone in the 902 area code and that they are the only carrier throttling data instead of gifting it right now. #fail

Stephen Pate (@sdpate) reported from Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island

A little bit of hell at home - 4 days after Fiona #pei has poor smart phone service from @bell @telus, virtually no wifi and 75% without lights and heat. Every day has been a trial of some sort. Oh well, it can only get better. And we go to bed by 9 in the dark.

@garymasonglobe @TELUS Telus is terrible, my sister went back to Rogers Shaw. I left them too years ago. No one is perfect but at least it is ok.

It seems @TELUS is fine with its business clients waiting three weeks to get a problem fixed. Imagine running a business and having to face that situation. Is Telus going to reimburse me for the three weeks I won't have service they are suppose to provide?

@Minaxi_VZ We're glad to hear that the technician visit has been booked for you. If the issue is determined to be on our side, you will not be charged the $200 technician fee. That charge only applies if the technician finds the issue is not related to TELUS equipment or network.

I hope the $ASTS boys like dilution because you're going to need a lot of it to fund your ambitions. While ASTS has a small lead on broadband connectivity their real advantage is spectrum access via carrier exclusivity and they've locked up nearly 60 mobile network operator partners covering over 3 billion subscribers AT&T, Verizon, Vodafone, Rakuten, Telus, Bell, etc. SpaceX operates more than 9,000 satellites around 60% of everything in orbit. ASTS has roughly 9 including recent launches, and is trying to accelerate to about one launch a month to hit 2026 targets. Analysts are skeptical it can sustain this. Each BlueBird Block 2 is a 6,100 kg spacecraft, far more complex and expensive per unit than a Starlink satellite and AST can't launch anything close to the pace of Musk. SpaceX owns the rockets while ASTS has to buy rides on Falcon 9, New Glenn, etc. SpaceX's hardware iteration speed is, as one analysis put it, a real and durable advantage, and if their next gen satellites deliver on data performance, the competitive gap narrows while the constellation scale gap stays insurmountable. SpaceX already took the biggest carrier prize in the US being T-Mobile. So the carrier moat cuts both ways. SpaceX obviously has access to vast capital after IPO, with Starlink generating ~$10.4 billion of revenue in 2025. ASTS is pre-real-revenue at scale ($70.9 million in 2025) and funding itself with convertible debt and dilution. Do the bulls have an answer to this?

@TELUS @garymasonglobe Don’t do DMs. Do it publicly so we can shame your brutal customer service.

@garymasonglobe @TELUS It’s awful. When you call do you get stuck on the AI loop?

@TELUS I don't know who's running things at telus, but they really don't like putting an offer on the table for their customers. Basic customer service is seriously lacking. 🙄

@TELUS They don't recognize my email, password is incorrect and ask me to reset it. Have done that several times but it never seems to work I have an email today "Koodo Apple Stream" and was able to get in from my "save e-mail address and password but not when I type Koodo for access?

@JonFraserTF @TELUS You fell for the "lease phone" trick. It's the same as leasing a car. Get the car, return it when your lease is up, and pay for any damage to the car. I never understood why that lease contract was legal in Canada. Next time only consider contracts where you own the phone.

@MLArajchouhan I emailed you re TELUS cutting my bro off. He has no access to phone, food, 911, his daughters, or medical emergencies. Telus refused my help because "I'm not authorized on account." FIX IT!
