Local phone company found enough interested customers to pre-order optical fibre connection/internet service to dig the cables down

@TELUS why did no one show up between 1-3pm on Saturday to fix my fibre optic cable as promised? And why when I phoned today I was on hold for over 30 minutes and then was hung up on? And why did I receive a text message right after saying I hung up?

@TELUSsupport @TELUS , how is it possible that a power outage has rendered your 5g network totally useless. no data, no ability to make a phonecall that won't break apart so bad it's useless until it eventually disconnects. The only thing we can do is text. Serious safety issue

@ahmasonx @TELUS Same it was ridiculous. I even switch my phone to 3G but nothing. My wife is on freedom and she had no problems.

@bradcedm @TELUS Thanks Brad but it’s been like this for 3 years and normally we are fine but it was clear we need a solution if things happen in the future. It became more evident during the outage that we need a signal booster or something as we won’t be able to call anyone during an outage.

@Schtaunkhauser And this kind of **** is legal. Something is wrong with our telecom legislation that scammers are free to use it until they actually snag a sucker. But unless somebody actually bites, it remains legal. What a waste of telecom resources! But do Bell, Telus, etc. still get paid?😎
