@TELUS @BCLions @ISPARCBC I tried to support you but all I did was get bounced from Guatemalan call centre to the Philippines!

  • WilcoMcG Rude (@WilcoMcG) reported

@armchairqbguy @Bell @TELUS I switched to Telus too, didn't have to sign a contract either as long as I used my own device. We'll see how it goes. If it's garbage or they increase rates I can just jump ship again.

@klaszus And now Telus sucks Albertans dry through cell phone rates and gov’t contracts.

  • mssinenomine G Peters patio ruiner ♿️ still a pandemic (@mssinenomine) reported

Me: You can't enter into a contract with Telus on my behalf. You can't sign me up for service with them that I will then be responsible for paying for. Something very wrong is happening here. Again housing provider says they are shocked Telus is presenting this as done deal.

The gaslighting from the supervisor is unreal. Absolutely refused to send a new box, Not until I mentioned our house burning down from the box getting so hot all of a sudden he could send a new box. Great training Telus.

@Leenerrr We live in St. Albert and have had telus fibre optic for few months now. We’ve had telus for internet and tv for years, and I wouldn’t recommend switching from SHAW. We have significant wifi issues and customer support is a hellish experience!

  • armchairqbguy R Nage (@armchairqbguy) reported

@WilcoMcG So interesting. I ditched Bell 3 yrs ago. With new phone I purchased outright, I would be using more data. Bell refused my request for more data without charging me a lot more. I called Telus. Offered me a fantastic plan. Great company, great service. @Bell @TELUS

@MJSwart Funny story: we’re with TELUS. Their customer support has been pretty good lately even if their tech isn’t. I swore a decade ago never to use TELUS and yet here we are.

@mssinenomine Not giving consent to the installation was not really a clear option. I did “agree“ to them coming into my apartment and installing something. However, I’ve never switched to Telus and that wasn’t seemingly required, despite there being pamphlets in the lobby about the new rate.
