I had Telus home service. It would drop off at least four times a day and I lose the tv as well. Very irritating when you are watching any sport or movie. I’d gladly pay the extra for reliability.

There was no notice, no explanation—nothing. If I ask them to fix it, only results is they charge me $200, no improvement after the repair.

I think your model is onto something, but at the same time I can't bring myself to buy more $T.TO (I sold $BCE.TO a couple years ago). That probably means it's a good time to buy. BCE is a no-go for me because I don't trust management. They're kings of saying one thing and doing another. Rogers I don't love the focus on sports franchises. Quebecor is still my favourite in the sector. Only a tiny bit more expensive than Telus on a P/FCF basis, but better balance sheet, a dividend that should grow, and a more focused company. Honourable mention to Cogeco too. Think they sell the U.S. part of the company and use the proceeds to pay down debt/do a buyback. They may even potentially take the company private.

This wasn't a minor tweak; it's a clear signal of deeper operational challenges, especially within their digital segment, following a Q1 dividend growth pause and a 52% net income drop in May. The drastic dividend reset aims to deleverage the balance sheet, targeting 3.0x net debt/EBITDA by end-2028 from 3.5x currently. This move is expected to save $2.7 billion cumulatively through 2028, with the DRIP discount ending October 1st to further reduce dilution. Full-year guidance was slashed across the board: service revenue now flat to -2%, Adjusted EBITDA -2% to -4%, and free cash flow around $1.8 billion. This magnitude of impairment and guidance cut will rattle income-focused portfolios. We're watching for concrete asset monetization updates and progress on their leverage target. Curtis C (@unhappycanuck) reported@AngelaUnspoken Every 2 years I switch carriers. I was with Telus for 20 years and a new customer pays half the price an existing customer does. So now I rotate every 2 years and get the best deals. Most people nowadays can’t because of the credit check needed that’s why they screw existing customers.
