@rosie_digout We found Shaw easier to deal w than either Bell, Rogers, or even Telus. Telus bald facedly lied to us urging us to sign longer term w them for better high speed. Turns out they didn't have that coverage into our area unless we went w a dish which is compromised during bad weather

  • Phazius Phazius | TTRPG grovin' (@Phazius) reported

@RessyM Oh... thats gonna suck. I dont even have Rogers as an option here snd ive heard not great things, but my Shaw service has been great. Telus wasnt really an option either, they didn't have a line in. So sounds like im pretty getting screwed

  • HowardITWC Howard Solomon (@HowardITWC) reported

@lynngr @peternowak This is the problem the CRTC and the government face: If Rogers can swallow Shaw, why shouldn't Bell take Telus? Bell will demand equal treatment

  • IanSeggie Ian Seggie 🅙 (@IanSeggie) reported

@Rogers No thanks. We began switcing to Telus in January. Not touching a Roger's branded product with a two-foot pole. You already destroyed our local #ymm radio stations and we definately don't want your cable or cell service. Hopefully the @CRTCeng sees the harm this will do.

  • cflisthebest Russ Germain (@cflisthebest) reported

@CBCAlerts I certainly will NOT EVER be a Roger's customer. the way they refuse to support the @CFL is despicable! if this actually happens I WILL be dropping them and moving to Telus. will promise I won't be a part of this sham of a company

  • endzonechamp Mike Brimblecombe (@endzonechamp) reported

@1loriking Yeah switch to the company that NEVER has your cell phone paid off,NOT I switched to Freedom, after being with Telus 12 years.

  • Robbie_J Rob Johnston says "Flatten The Curve!" 🇨🇦🎧🎵 (@Robbie_J) reported

@Jboparai21 I would think the door is open for Bell to take Telus as they have a business and tech sharing relationship. But there still needs to be some competition. Mind you prices are never gonna come down to where they are other countries.

  • AmbulentLight paul is not paranoid (@AmbulentLight) reported

@Whalerman12 @natnewswatch Unless you're with Bell or Telus or a subsiduary, there's a good chance you actually are. Because "independent" companies resell service from the big guys, that's how it works.

  • Flagpole_Canada Flagpole to Canada (@Flagpole_Canada) reported

@peternowak I’m sure they like putting out feelers like this even if they don’t think it‘ll go through (see: Cogeco). Wouldn’t be surprised if the Corp merger gets rejected but they do a Telus/Bell style network-sharing deal & effectively merge everything except shares.

  • lynngr Lynn Greiner (@lynngr) reported

@HowardITWC @peternowak From a customer PoV, Bell + Telus = disaster. Dumped Bell years ago for severe lack of customer service/focus. Telus is great that way.
