Just drove down to AL after visiting Telus to make sure my phone would unlimited data would work. An hour after crossing border Telus blocked my wifi leaving me in an ice storm with no calling, no texting and later no GPS. I called then from a hotel phone but they said too bad.

Re: #BCStorm Just now attempted to call two different Long Distance numbers: one in Washington State and the other in California. With both calls, heard, "That number is not in service." Called the operator for BC Telephone (Telus) and they said many are calling him with the same

@TELUSsupport @TELUS your fibre optic network installed in my neighborhood has been extremely unreliable since being installed early November. Even with numerous attempts from a very customer focused employee has not resolved the problem. I would never recommend it to anyone.

@ghFive Unfortunately, there are currently no methods to prevent Call Display spoofing. Please note that TELUS will never call you asking for credit information.

@Thuncher If you have Telus you can turn on Call Control, eliminates the problem entirely! It was so bad I couldn’t stand it either, it’s insidious and invasive.
