    @FringedCanuck @Starlink Interesting as I had Starlink for several years and never an issue. Telus ran fiber optic out past our place and offered a great price.. so we sucked in and got hooked up. We have been having issues with it cutting in and out the past few days. Strange coincidence

    Smart TVs also can be turned on remotely, including the Alexa microphone in your remote control. It can also hack your wifi network and all devices on it. China did it for years in the USA. My FireTV when connected to the computer was changing settings on my PC, when connected via an HDMI cable, BUT NOT TURNED ON. I could tell because my PC screen would change as if a new monitor was turned on and found out it was the TV doing it. So a TV not turned on was still interfacing with my computer without my permission. I also noticed my TV was doing updates despite the fact my TV was not connected to my wifi network. Instead it was doing the updates without my permission, using the 4K Telus digital box it was connected to.

    @FrankP9915 @JohnRustad4BC This isn't true. Canada has similar problems as US healthcare does post Covid. Private telecoms have the worst service. Sasktel at least has far superior service and prices to that of Bell, Telus, etc.

    @Ayan604 @TELUS @TELUSsupport 🚨 March 2026, Telus, Roger’s, and Freedom all had data links. As a result, bad actors are calling clients as if from a major provider and HAVE enough client details to make people believe it’s a legit call. Nobody in Canada should be providing anything on a cold call now. 🚨

    @MPelletierCIO I cut my Telus bill by 50%, got rid of the cable boxes and all the specialty channels and packages, now I just stream what I want to see on AMZN, APPL, etc. Telus has problems bigger than customer growth, it's guys like me staying with them, but dumping half the services.

    @cashmobstalbert @TELUSBusiness Honestly. Telus sucks, when you talk to help desk they are in far away lands. Get cheap rates for the servive and so more profit for Telus. Service level???! Who cares.

    God my internet is so slow :/ I have Telus purefibre 250 Mbps and man it is sooo slow to download games or stuff on my laptop like it takes an hour plus. tbh i kinda did forgot what internet plan i actually had (lol) but i thankfully will probably upgrade to either purefibre 1 gigabit or 1.5 gigabit and hopefully i will have much faster speeds :) and once i do that, i will only have to get an Ethernet port installed in my bedroom and then i will finally not have to worry about internet speeds again :3
