@TELUS why’d almost half of canada lose internet and cell service recently?

@MeghanEMurphy You're right. If parents cancelled their internet providers, many kids would have amazing turnarounds. I wonder why so many parents promise to make sacrifices but that never included cancelling Telus.

@JakeLandauTO @TELUS Good to know, I'll never use your service.. also if you think people are stupid they will still know it's a sub par third worlder when they can't answer questions and read off scripts only..

@Judyylicious @TELUS @TELUSsupport TELUS SmartHome: repeated false alarms → police dispatch while I was on a flight. Told to pay + upsold $5 add-on. Neighbour had same issue, paid hundreds. Fix the system, don’t monetize faults. Will escalate if unresolved.

@markmandel007 @WestJet Westjet wanted cheap labor they got it. The agents in Telus El Salvador have a mediocre English level, they can't even understand a spelling, they work with "scripts" unnatural customer service, then they grow after 1 month of training without any experience in airlines at all

@TELUS you are scumbags. Make your ******* internet work. I’d probably have better service in the middle of the ocean.

@terrynewman As an @TELUS customer, I would love to be able to speak to a real human in this country! It's getting harder to speak to anyone when dealing with them. Have a problem? They'll call you back in a day or two maybe.

@albertaseparate The NDP didn’t share it with anyone that wasn’t supposed to have it. The unions don’t have it. Never have. Now you’re lying about this. Telus and Rogers don’t have our voter information. You separatists just have to keep lying to believe your narrative. The world has caught on.

@Tablesalt13 For those that want to know TELUS outsources the most: It runs a massive global BPO operation (TELUS International/digital solutions) with call centers and services abroad. Its Canadian headcount has steadily declined while global grew. • Bell does offshore some customer service/IT (complaints about India/Philippines agents and recent moves are common). • Rogers has done the least visible offshoring for customer-facing roles: It publicly committed to (and delivered) 100% Canadian-based call centers/customer service teams (including repatriating Shaw jobs in 2023). It still positions itself as the only national carrier with this focus, though recent cuts, AI, and third-party shifts have drawn criticism like the others.
