Ash Mishra (@ashwani_avgeek) reported@TELUSsupport @TELUS customer support over phone has gone worse. Everytime you talk to someone, it is so hard to understand what they are saying. Always in a rush, will put you on hold while you are in the middle of the conversation. This is frustrating. And then Telus will charge you premium money for this poor service. Service standards of telecom operators in Canada is the worst. May be at second place after car dealerships.

Greying Geek🇨🇦 (@Greyinggeek1) reported@howisthismylif @TELUS 100% shady. Nobody should be buying anything from outbound sales. I worked sales, mostly in telecommunications for 20 years. The worst cases of fraud and lies come from 3rd party outbound sales.

Probably But Not Necessarily Ian Bell 🇨🇦 (@ianb) reported@jodyvance @TELUS Emancipate yourself from deep (mis)management by the provider by purchasing your own @Ubiquiti Unifi gateway. Gives you easy GUI access to your network, expandable, and cheap. Then, yes, cut the cord for CableTV. Services like phone/cable etc. are better delivered “over the top”.

When I called to cancel Bell offered me $80 for 2 years locked in (Telus is 5 years). Problem with bell was, every year they add $5 increase ever year like clockwork.

Gord (@GordinKelowna) reported@jodyvance @TELUS Lots of moving parts to the problem(s). To say that Telus or Rogers sucks doesn't help. Getting a tech on site is the best bet if you can make it happen. I have Telus, and I've been annoyed occasionally, but it's been minor stuff. Good Luck!
