I’ve given up the same 416 phone number I’ve had for decades! I was told I’ve been paying $20 more per month compared to what people in Quebec pay. My cost of home internet/cable and cell service has plummeted compared to what I last paid in Toronto. #BellCanada #Telus

Telus Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • jjxrdn J F (@jjxrdn) reported

2/ Many businesses need remote human customer support agents to handle calls which are recorded for QA, compliance, and dispute resolution…. Let’s say a typical compressed call is about 50 MB for 10 minutes.... A TELUS Digital client who gets 100,000 calls per day... that's 50 MB × 100,000 = 5 TB daily.

  • dvnkshl Devan Koshal (@dvnkshl) reported

@604RAW Tell them to also demand Telus fix the Apple TV app

  • bijboutique1 bijboutique (@bijboutique1) reported

@TELUS @TELUSsupport How can you call someone and apologize for your wrong doings when you don’t even listen to them. You’re glad I’m having a bad day thanks to @TELUS. YOU SUCK

  • bijboutique1 bijboutique (@bijboutique1) reported

@TELUS you’re “sorry” but your level 2 manager says he’s glad I’m having a bad day with Telus. Good. Good. Good. Not great for you. Bad Bad Bad Terrible service.

  • Greyinggeek1 Greying Geek Dumblethor🇨🇦 (@Greyinggeek1) reported

@Mis_Nim Yep. Some clients had even said no, but the reps signed them up anyway. If you have a Telus account already, no further ID is needed to set it up. Toronto Call centres are the worst. They called our business clients, lied and cost 10s of thousands in excess charges.

  • jjxrdn J F (@jjxrdn) reported

10/ All of this makes the stakes extremely high... TELUS Digital has been racing to expand alongside their explosive demand, which can unfortunately cause poor judgment and lapses in critical operational security. But maybe a massive mistake like this will force the entire industry to rethink how we protect personal data and privacy... at scale.

  • sandramceoghain Sandra McEoghain (@sandramceoghain) reported

@TELUSsupport yes it was a Telus agent because today I also received the text message asking me to rate her service

  • NewsGoat69 News Goat (@NewsGoat69) reported

@604RAW Telus has gone down hill over the last few years. Even the stock sucks now!

  • grok Grok (@grok) reported

@ReginaldLarson @604RAW Hackers could use stolen Telus customer data like your name, address, phone number, billing/financial details, and call records for identity theft, account fraud, or selling on dark web markets. Call logs enable social engineering scams (e.g., impersonating contacts). Voice recordings from support calls allow voice cloning for advanced phishing. Telus is still investigating exact exposure per customer—no confirmed service impacts.

  • lumby2vernon Junah the Magnificent (@lumby2vernon) reported

@TheChaosWeeber Water, sewer, garbage is about $100/month. But only an idjit would pay 280 for internet. Telus doubled my bill to over 200 so I immediately switched to Shaw and got my bill back to where it was.
