    @CDInewsletter Really appreciate the thoughtful reply and coming from you, it carries weight. I ran both Quebecor and Cogeco through the algorithm just now. And I am happy to see that your instincts mostly checkout :) : $QBR-B: 🟢 OPTIMAL | Quality 85, Opportunity 80. P/FFO 8.7x, ND/EBITDA 2.9x, 11.8% dividend CAGR. The model loves this one - Quality 85 is significantly higher than BCE (57) or Telus (58). The 2.2% yield is light, but total shareholder yield is 3.79% with buybacks. $CCA: 🟠 CAUTION | Quality 45, Opportunity 70. Yield 6.38%, P/FFO 1.5x. The $2.2B impairment on the U.S. segment (Breezeline) is flagged as a permanent structural problem, not temporary. The algorithm sees the value but doesn't trust the moat. The BCE management trust point is well taken. "The dividend is safe" → 42% cut a year later is exactly the kind of credibility gap no quantitative model captures.     @MPelletierCIO If she was managing my money, I would redeem my investment. I'm guessing she isn't an actual Telus customer, so is clueless. The problem is the hideous customer service, they would be better if nobody picked up the phone. I cancelled my cable, took weeks.

    Re. land line, I need to hang onto the phone number as it's registered everywhere and a PITA to change. Anyway, I too was paying a high monthly so I told Telus I was considering dumping it and they gave me a loyalty rate of $2.50 per month. They must do this to pretend they still have a customer base. And yes, porting to VOIP is something I was considering as I already have a couple of numbers.

    I subscribe to Sportsnet through my TELUS television package. Every month I pay for your channels, yet because I live in Calgary and support the Vancouver Canucks, I am expected to purchase a full Sportsnet+ Premium subscription simply to watch out-of-market games.

    @christyclarkbc @grok before Christy Clark left office, she made sure the local telecom company Telus could not be named on Bc place. Here she is seen supporting bell on her jersey, a company from the east coast. What was the reason why she favours an east coast company? Revenue to help support taxpayer funded buildings would be good no?
