Mike (@fvkasm2x) reported@JonFraserTF @TELUS We left them last year after 20 years! Problem after problem the past 3 years with no customer service or effort to fix the issues.
-
VernThurston (@VernThurston) reported@BlueNeox @JonFraserTF @TELUS Thank you-I didn't know that. My hope is for Star Link to get into cellphone networking service.

Dave McCristall (@davemccr) reported@JonFraserTF @TELUS Best strategy for cell plans is to have ZERO loyalty to providers. I’ve been with 4 different providers in 5 years. Tired of their games. Buy the phone you want, get a plan, switch when they don’t treat you right. My current plan is 80gb North America roaming. $27 a month.

Goosedog (@Piccoq333) reported@JonFraserTF @TELUS I was a 30 year customer and got the service you described . I was happy to leave. All the Cdn Cell phone companies are the same when it comes to acknowledging customer loyalty.

Salman (@salmanesmaili) reportedHey @TELUS @TELUSsupport Today I spent over 50 minutes on the phone just to add ONE channel to my TV package. It’s 2026. We have AI agents, autonomous vehicles, and instant digital banking. Yet a basic account change still requires nearly an hour with customer service. This isn’t a technology problem—it’s a customer experience problem. Do better. #TelecomMonopoly #LackOfCompetition Cc: @CRTCeng

MoMoMacro (@MoMoMacro) reported@hennycapital $AMPG adding $AMZN and $NVDA to the customer wall while real hardware is already deployed at TELUS sites is a different animal than an LOI. Market down 2%, this up 20%. That spread is the tell.
-
Rick (@Rick19053470) reported@JonFraserTF @TELUS Yikes!! I just moved to Telus from Shaw/Rogers to get much lower rates and fibre-optic service.
-
PsudoMike 🇨🇦 (@PsudoMike) reported@KerrGordon Not typically — SIM cards are separate from the device. The phone connects to the network via the SIM (or eSIM). Telus framing it as hardware doesn't change that it's a mandatory access fee.

ShredderCowboy (@PaulB527811000) reported@JonFraserTF @TELUS Interesting I was with Bell up until 7 years ago when Telus offered better service and lower costs and then slowly went down hill in customer service and my bills are always wrong.

M.Brown (@MsMJBrown) reported@JonFraserTF @TELUS I bailed out of their TV service a year 18 months ago. Terrible service. The phone I switched over to Rogers 6 months ago. Because I have their home service my wireless is $25 a month for the same service as I was paying $120 a month with Telus. Better better customer service.
