  $TU - TELUS CUT ITS DIVIDEND 55% AND RAISED CAPEX. THE FREE CASH FLOW GUIDE FELL A QUARTER. Every rung of the 2026 guide moved at once. Free cash flow to about $1.8 billion from about $2.45 billion; capital expenditures UP to about $2.6 billion from about $2.3 billion; consolidated service revenue growth to flat-to−2% from 2% to 4%; adjusted EBITDA growth to −2% to −4% from 2% to 4%. The quarterly dividend was reset 55% to $0.1875 a share, an annualized $0.75, which TELUS says frees roughly $2.7 billion of cash through 2028 for debt reduction. The payout policy moved to 45–60% of trailing free cash flow from 60–75%, and the discount on the dividend reinvestment plan is gone from October 1 — the company says that reduces shareholder dilution. The leverage target itself never moved. The deadline did: about 3.0 times net debt to adjusted EBITDA by year-end 2028 rather than 2027, from 3.5 times at quarter-end, citing "competitive pricing pressure and reduced subscriber demand amid lower population growth." Mobile phone net additions were 17,000. A carrier that grew by connecting a growing country is repricing for one that isn't. The dividend is what pays for the extra year. Shares fell about 12%.

  @wliang is bullish on $AMPG and for a very good reason. Apart of partnership with $NVDA, they have the most insane customer base for $140M market cap: $AMZN, $IBM, NASA, Nvidia, Google + pretty much all the defense primes and US goverment. Amplitech has exposure to O-RAN, AI-RAN, Defense, Space, Satcom and quantum computing. Just to give you few reasons why I like Amplitech: 1. Over $118M in signed LOIs converting to POs 2.   @StatisticsBC @VIAwesome Fair enough—public debate is healthy. But the core claims driving the marches (water grid drain + waste heat baking the city) still don’t match the actual engineering. These aren’t traditional evaporative data centres. Telus/Westbank designs use closed-loop liquid cooling—a sealed system that recirculates the same fluid, like a car radiator. Result: dramatically lower water use (company target: up to 90% less than conventional air-cooled facilities) and near-zero ongoing evaporation for the primary loop. At 150 W Georgia, the heat isn’t vented to the street. It’s transferred into Creative Energy’s district steam plant to help heat 200+ downtown buildings and cut natural-gas demand. That’s the opposite of “warming the city.” Protests highlight real questions about scale, power, and process. Those deserve scrutiny. Spreading outdated assumptions about water and heat does not. #Vancouver #DataCentres #Sustainability

  I think only @koodo @TELUS has the confidence to upgrade a customer from their Basic plan to Premium plan without customer’s explicit request or customer’s knowledge. A thing called ‘Customer experience’ got no meaning 🙁 @CRTCeng

  @bcbluecon Even in Central Coquitlam at my business , y over y we pay more and y over year @telus service gets worse. Multiple dropped calls per week. Dead zones. Ridiculous given what we Canadians pay. Time of emergency I can’t imagine how bad it must be.

  @SonyaPaterson Oh geez Sonya, sounds like you've been thru the ringer! We've also had issues with Rogers/Shaw so we moved over to Telus for our cable & internet.
