Backing up 40TB to 2 cloud services... so 80TB upload. Looking at Telus Pure Fibre 1.5 Gigabit... exactly same 940 Mbps upload limit as their (1.0) Gigabit service (which we use). That is unexpected... thought Fiber speeds are always symmetrical?

@langway05 @BradleyVis Same. Telus wanted $65/month for what we get with Shaw for $25/month. Only downside is smaller rural coverage area, but I don't need that. I feel bad for those who do.

…2:20pm, because now I’m wondering where tech is. Long wait, so @TELUSsupport @telus give me a callback. Buddy on the callback says “says here on the file customer canceled the install” I’m at this point ARE YOU FREAKING KIDDING ME…

@TELUSsupport Or just fixing the listings maybe? That seems like the right way to provide a service. Channel guides have been around since TV programs were black and white…. It’s either a OneSoccer or Telus issue. Asking a customer to find a solution is backwards to how customer service works

@telus @TELUSsupport still nothing from your “customer service”, re technician no-show yesterday(1-3pm PST), spoke with you on the phone and messaged on here “assured” of a callback(3:08pmPST), still nothing!

@krisster8 So now your a victim but the Canadian people who elected you to that seat then you betray them are the bad people? Well **** you expect a lot more of the same from the East coast to the West coast. PS I hear Telus call center is hiring.

@DanAlbas My cellphone bill went down because I switched from Rogers to @Telus. Now Rogers keeps calling me trying to win me back, with $5 less a month than I'm paying now. The way I see it, them calling me is an admission that they were overcharging a loyal customer for 20 years.

@TELUS why can't you, a giant telecom. co. Stop sending me duplicate mobility emails every month? I have talked to support several times in the last year...and yet it persists.

When will the Canadian Gov. grow a pair and face down Bell, Rogers and Telus. It looks like Freedom Mobile is about to die If Rogers “can’t find a buyer”. The big three charge the highest rates in the free world and have a “gentlemen’s agreement” not to compete. Not capitalism.
