An update on my old rotary phone.. I filed a complaint with CRTC.. Telus got back to me a few hours later. It looks like they are going to fix it and make it work as promised. I'm impressed but it took some effort to prevent being bulldozed by big tec. Kudos to Telus though.

the reason this is finally easy - the reason i don't need a special machine for it - is that the invention of IP relay services means that i simply applied thru telus' website - the company that owns my cell service provider, public mobile. IP relay means you only need internet.

Seem to get anyone in Edmonton to believe me that I have optic fibre pulled into my place… I was looking forward to switching from Shaw to Telus but if this is the kind of customer support and experience I am getting.. then I will never get optic fibre hooked up..

@RogersHelps please find a solution to filter the spams call. Both Telus & Bells already have it. It’s ridiculous the amount of spam calls I’m receiving daily.

@TELUS your service is a garbage can. There’s been more instances of digitizing than when I was at Shaw, and they suck also. The fibre service shouldn’t be this bad. #fixthisgarbage

Worst customer experience with @TELUS @TELUSsupport . They don’t tell you about roaming charges until you are already roaming, whereas their biggest competitor @Rogers offers a flat rate roaming option automatically. Now they say they won’t help but appreciate my business?!?
